Myles Smith has had an insane 6 months. His humble phone recordings of originals and covers triggered a nerve with those who love powerful lyrics paired with searing vocals and he's gone onto reach millions of people worldwide.
It was his cover of Amber Run's 'I Found' that led us to discover him for the first time, so we felt it a fitting tribute to one of the best indie songs ever that he did his own version.

Amber Run’s live version with the choir was so good that I was concerned for anyone else attempting to cover it but wow…amazing man!!

Imo the best way to cover is a song is to do it your way. Imagine trying to out do Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love Your, in her style?!

I had forgotten this song. So happy that I was reminded of this beautiful piece. This iteration has the same level of tenderness but there is a certain... almost somberness to it. Time to play it on repeat.

A lot of artists get lost in the technic and forget about putting in the emotions. It's a form of acting. Myles Smith absolutely nailed the emotions here, it makes this interpretation so impactful because it rings true. Absolutely amazing

Could anyone make out the chords he's using
This song is probably about a girl but this can be so Christian. I found his love in family where they barely talked about him, where they barely knew him. I found his love and it was a miracle to know so much about him. His unconditional giving. He doesn’t ask much and we disappoint him. I’m not going to say all because there’s probably amazing people out there but it’s amazing that I can feel so much about him, I can understand so much about him and came from a place where they didn’t have a Bible. I don’t deserve any of it, it’s honor to feel so much love from him. The focal point was my parents and his teachings, the warning signs was them and in the end, with all of that, he found me where I shouldn’t have been found. Perfect Christian song, I’m just saying.
