Everyone loves a good Shovelhead chopper. In this video, we take a closer look at one built by Myles Harris. Myles showed off his build at the Garage Build Bike Show that took place during this past year’s Daytona Bike Week.
Myles started this project in his garage with a 1971 Super Glide frame he bought from a friend. He took on the challenge of building the tank and fender himself, showcasing his welding and fabrication skills. For the paint job, Myles collaborated with Milkbone Customs from Orlando.
The engine work was another crucial part of the build. Myles rebuilt the Shovelhead with the help of a local expert, who guided him along the way. The front end was built by his friend Jay Ryan.
Myles is the product of a lot of great builders coming together to teach and lend him a helping hand. The result is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind bike that was a standout during the show.
