Hello Teddy, I’m from Mizoram, India, and my ethnicity aligns with the people you reacted to in the video. We belong to the greater Chin-Kuki-Zo tribe, which is divided into three main groups: the Chins, predominantly in Myanmar; the Kukis, mainly in Manipur, India; and the Zo or Mizo, who primarily reside in Mizoram, India. This division stems from the colonial era when the British split our tribes across different countries, a separation that persists to this day. The term "Chinlung chhuak" roughly translates to "the people who comes out from the rocks of Chin" in English. All Chin-Kuki-Zo tribes claim this common origin, asserting that our ancestors emerged from a place called Chinlung. It is believed that we migrated from China during the Qing Dynasty, moving south into Myanmar. From there, our ancestors spread into various regions, including parts of Myanmar, Bangladesh, and the northeastern regions of India. Despite the geographical separation and the different dialects we now speak, there remains a mutual intelligibility among us, fostering a sense of unity. The British first encountered our people in the late 19th century. At that time, they considered us barbaric and underdeveloped compared to their own society. However, their presence introduced us to the broader, civilized world. Yet, during their colonial rule, they divided our tribes across Myanmar, India, and Bangladesh without our consent. This division has had lasting impacts, especially after these countries gained independence from the British. Post-independence, our people have consistently fought for greater autonomy and a unified homeland. Unfortunately, these efforts have largely been unsuccessful. Nonetheless, by the grace of God, we secured our own state in India, Mizoram, which translates to "the land of the Zo people." This achievement was hard-won through a struggle against the then-totalitarian Indian government. Although Mizoram does not entirely fulfill our aspirations, we are grateful for this sanctuary where all Chin-Kuki-Zo tribes can feel at home. Our brothers and sisters, the Chins in Myanmar, have faced continuous conflict and persecution. In times of crisis, many have fled to Mizoram, where we welcome them with open arms, providing refuge and solidarity. Mizoram is a testament to our resilience and unity. Despite the artificial borders that have separated us, the shared history, culture, and sense of community among the Chin-Kuki-Zo people remain strong. We celebrate our heritage through vibrant festivals, traditional dances, and music, preserving the rich legacy of our ancestors. Moreover, our shared linguistic roots enable us to maintain strong connections, despite the dialectal differences. Thank you for taking the time to understand our history and our struggles. It means a lot to our people, and we hope our story resonates with you and others who learn about it.

We ,myanmar people, are experiencing blockages. The military is not giving us our rights. We don't have electricity. We don't have access to Facebook. We can't talk about political issues on social media." "Due to rising prices, people are struggling to make ends meet. In some places, they are living under the threat of war. Families are separated, whether they are alive or dead. We are subjected to the brutal rule and executions by the military. We cannot expose the inhumane crimes committed by the relatives of military leaders. Knowledge and progress are being stifled in all aspects, including politics, economy, society, and education, to keep us lagging behind."

Myanmar Military Coup has taken place on 2021, February. In this incident, Myanmar military commander in chief, General Min Aung Hlaing took over the absolute power from elected President and State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi(who is a noble peace winner and now in detainment). During this 3 years, military brutally killed his own citizens and people who are against them by any means. The artists in this song and Vannex are of Chin ethnicity ( there are many ethics groups in Myanmar). Please support us . Love from Myanmar.

Myanmar remains embroiled in conflict, now over three years since a military dictatorship took control. The ongoing strife has disrupted the lives of countless young people, depriving them of education and forcing many to take up arms instead of books. These brave young individuals are sacrificing their futures to protect their country from the military coup. This situation must come to an end, and for that to happen, we urgently need the support of the international community. Your voice and actions can make a difference in restoring peace and ensuring a brighter future for Myanmar's youth.

Speaking of which, I feel for the refugees & innocent civilians displaced by war. In my humble opinion, refugees and displaced civilians fleeing or caught up in the civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region. In fact, around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty. Besides, the vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region. Once again, I agree with the fact that displaced civilians fleeing/caught up in the civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia & New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region. True, around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty. True, the vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region. [For honest truths about Myanmar, pls read the informative multi-page comments by 'Ms. Gregoria' at, "Myanmar remains in social and economic crisis since military seized power/BBC News": kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWSO0LOTdaW8pbg.html ]. Colonialism and Colonization are evil things done by evildoers. For instance, here in Singapore, a tiny island with 6 million souls lives like sardines in a can, elsewhere in nearby vast bountiful Australia which is ten thousand times 10,000 bigger with a mere 27 million inhabitants. A similar situation in tiny and packed Japan, which is running out of space and land. Do you know that their living room and bedroom are the same place, and that most Japanese people sleep in their living room? After all, ginormous resourceful Australia/New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region are Asia-Pacific lands looted from Native Asians-Pacific people. There's hardly any Muslim, Hindu or Christian in Burma up until Anglo British Colonialism. I suppose it's fair to say that many of these tragedies that nation facing today, such as racial, ethnic and religious conflicts, started with Colonialism. Here's my suggestion.. Why not Myanmar's Muslim, Hindu and Christian population, if they wish, move to a place like Anglo Colonized vast bountiful Australia/New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region? After all, these are Asia-Pacific lands looted from Native Asians-Pacific people.

First to donate. This charity seems mostly run by people of the Chin community, let's help them out and also find more charities for more of the minority regions like those populated by Karen, Kachin, Rakhine, Shan, Rohingya, etc, as well as the Bamar regions of Myanmar that are affected by the conflict. Hope for peace and for democracy to prevail.

Myanmar is facing a severe humanitarian crisis following the military coup on February 1, 2021. The junta has shut down social media and internet access to silence dissent and control information. Reports of extreme violence, including the killing of civilians, children, and widespread sexual assault, highlight the brutality of the regime. The military has even resorted to bombing civilian areas, causing widespread destruction and fear. The international community must condemn these actions, restore internet access, provide humanitarian aid, and hold the junta accountable for its crimes. Immediate action is crucial to prevent further atrocities and support the people of Myanmar in their struggle for justice and democracy.
