4 years break wouldn't be a big issue if you have a good reason. Your previous experience surely counts, in addition, pls learn new technologies/methods/processes so that you can have good resume when applying. Go through a contact (an existing employee of the firm) when applying.

Hi Archana, sorry for the delayed response. It would depend on your husband's visa status and immigration status for each job req. H1 B visas are by lottery these days and for H1B they have to prove that the labor they are hiring is hard to find in the local population.
