Chris you confused me in one of your recent videos. You were talking about buying a $500 dollar car for the lemon race... you bought one but it was too far gone so you sold it on. So you bought a second car but it was over $1000 so it obviously doesn’t fit with the $500 limit so what’s the deal?

I'm loving how proud Juan is of that new shop. He was already killing it in the old shop, but this is clearly that " if money was no object" dream shop for him and I think it's gonna pay off huge!

Plus they have other cars that needs to be painted. 4 weeks is very fast. Even 3 month is reasonable for a 30k paint job

For those who don't know, Mexico blue, and Miami blue are Porsche colors. Mexico blue is a special "Paint to Sample" color option. The color choice is just fabulous. I love it. I can't wait to see how it turns out when it's finished. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.

He isn’t incapable of working sure Jared does a fair bit of work but that doesn’t mean thag Freddy sleeps. He does work too. He got the channel to where it is. Im j here to watch some cool cars being fixed in a timelapse with some good jokes and they do supply so🤷🏾‍♂️. Its interesting fun and positive content. Doesn’t require hate. Let people watch what they wanna you are completely entitled to your own opinion and view on the channel. There needs to be a heartwarming, uplifting movie about Tav's restoration of this car. It's the best pick-me-up to come out of 2020-2021; a triumph of the human spirit.

Really like the color choice. Unique color for a unique story. That said, you need to shop for a white unstructured suit and a pastel t-shirt to complete the Miami Vice vibe.

I love how knowledgeable Juan is, you start talking about that aluminum paint issue and he can explain it to you exactly. Love it.

He knows what he is talking about. BTW also carbon causes galvanic corosion when in contact with steel and needs the same rubber rings etc to prevent contact with the steel. When bonded to steel an thin layer of glass layer should be bonded between the carbon and steel. Carbon exposed to the sun should have a good UV resistant clear coat on it Depending on the used expoxy with the carbon it also shouldn't be exposed to heat and dark colors should be avoided .(the reason why glass and carbon airplanes are white or light colored) Its also advised to have a kevlar layer on carbon parts exposed to the cabin as in a crash carbon will splinter in pointy parts . a layer kevlar (or glass) will prevent this.

This dude loves his shop so much, Tav is over here just showing it all off and trying to get him to talk but the setup speaks for itself. Can't wait to see how he does with all those damn parts.

Juen is lovable, i am really happy he is doing well.

The man got his own paint code today, living dreams I didn't even know I had!

I gotta say thanks to Auto Tempest!! I work for a Toyota body shop in Madison, WI. We had a Toyota Matrix towed in. The car was bought new at our dealership in 2013, 1 owner, with 210k on the clock.. every mile serviced at our dealership (8.8k worth of service, recalls, body repairs etc.. over 8yrs & 210k).. oh & lets not forget it was the "holy grail" of Matrix's... the AWD S.. needless to say the proud owner of this Matrix refused to give up on their beloved Matrix.. even after insurance deemed it a total loss & our 11K repair bill due to the front "frame rail" buckling and taking out the motor mount & smashing into the water pump. Working in our industry you gotta know when to make a dollar & walk away. This was a car to walk away from. Letting a older lady spend that kind of money on that car made no sense.. but the owner refused and refused.. Her salesman cant find one, shes looked all over town, they dont make them like they used to... so I went on Auto Tempest as a "joke" & found the exact same Matrix, same color, AWD S model... with a 100K less than her currently wrecked car. Hesitantly she looked at my Auto Tempest link.. & bought it sight unseen!!!! honestly though I do work at a Dealership & I vetted the entire vehicle history & dealer service... This thing was a gem!!! One owner, dealer serviced!!! & now her kids don’t have to know she wrecked her original car!! 😂 Thanks Auto Tempest!!

I grew up working in one of the top body shops here in Cleveland so I know this work really well. And man that shop is awesome. Great stuff and the owner really knows his stuff.
