Accepting PRs and then working on tests is backwards. Reverting via cherry-pick is amazing though!

As a maintainer you are responsible of merging prs that should be in main into main. Your job is not to merge prs with eachother, it is expected that when one makes a pr, they will maintain it until it is merged, that means they are the ones doing the merging work between their code, which they know, and the target.

Hey there Chris! Just wanted to thank you for all the amazing work you and the community have done As a not really tech-savvy guy, I was able to avoid so much frustration from windows thanks to your utilities and guides, and to my wonder windows 11 runs even better than the stripped down windows 10 I was using before Whenever you read this, I hope you have a lovely day sir!

One of the best examples when it comes to bad names is Ncmpcpp. It's even hard to remember. 🤠

I've been reading your XAML and a cleaner solution to all the hardcoded checkboxes in there i would use a listbox reading a hashtable or XML file with all the options. Just set itemSource to the object.

yeah its not python problem per say more an issue with a package or the package manager itself perhaps. Updates need to be done on the regular and yes you do get the odd update snafu where it takes a while but as a linux user for many years this doesnt happen often. Hopefully that 3 hour snafu will be the last pain point for you in a while.

by the way, i think python is just bad in general performance in linux. i mean as a common people with some years of using windows experience, i remember that windows could finish big windows update that has 2-3 gigs in just 20 to 30 minutes in potato computers. and yet, a 400 megabytes updates in linux would take over THREE HOURS to complete. not sure if python scripting and cron jobs simply slow or its just python in general. why do windows could do it so fast? and rarely did errors in the process. that even if the PC crashes at some point during windows update. i have already severa times get a bugged linux update that only have about 100 to 200MB payload that require me to remove it in the synaptic package manager and re update. that after nearly 2 hours of update process.whats with python?
