That's not fully true :) I have been living in Seoul for 3 years now and actually got my ADHD diagnosis here at a great clinic. I go in every month for a checkup and there are plenty Korean clients in the waiting room. While it may not be discussed much in public settings, people do discuss and take care of their mental health in private these days. Especially people in their 20s and 30s.@@SmileAway21

The younger and more prone to disease and ailment the more important it is to heat sterilize bottles. While not necessarily required, it can help prevent things that are hard to kill or get rid of with regular soap and water, that would usually not cause problems but can in rare cases of immunodeficiency or compromise.

In my opinion, she actually need a proper guide about parenting, housewife, etc. Since she lived with her grandma who did everything for her, so she didnt know how to do decision. She lacks of confidence, for example buying stuff and tasting her own cooking (she afraid its gonna taste bad), her own attire, her baby clothes. She also lack of critical thinking, like how to handle her baby. She doesn't know what right or wrong, like mixing situation where she fight w her husband and refuse to go meet her parents for dinner. She just lack in many place, and thats where she reeeaaaallly need proper guide on being an individual. Her husband need to be patient and guide her. She need help.

@@devaniasou9596 I think you are very well-raised, considering you are very mature now. That's why you and her are very different. You can't say she's lazy or doesn't respect her husband. She just does NOT know how to do things, because she lived with her grandmother before and maybe she was really spoiled. She can be 25-26 years more or less on the outside but on the inside she is just a child who doesn't know anything. She's not mature yet. We can't say a child is lazy just because the child can't cook, or can't do the laundry, or can't do the chores. Let me repeat, she is a child. So that's why her husband need to teach a loootttt of things before expecting anything from her. Her husband needs to be patient. Such a pity for the husband, but what else can he do now? He's marrying an immature woman.

I am conflicted. I feel for the husband and at the same time, I feel for the wife too. Originally, I thought she was chronically lazy and had a devil may care attitude. But when they spoke about her innermost feelings, I saw the guilt, the sadness and most of all, self reproach for being useless and unprepared. Narsha understood the core of the problem relatively better than the others, which is why she burst into tears when she spoke to her. The husband loves her and their baby to pieces, but is frustrated that is wife is slow and at a loss for everything. Hence, he feels burdened and tries to destress with computer games. Both of them need counselling and a little more drive to make a warm and happy family.

Heliconia Lee introvert doesn‘t mean lazy and incapable. I consider myself an introvert and I‘m not shy, I have a masters degree, multiple awards and people always compliment me on my diligence. I can make friends easily and I go out and travel a lot. There were days in the past when I was enthusiastically selling merchandise on the streets and talking to strangers all day, and there are some other days where I need my boyfriend to talk to the sales clerk while shopping because I just couldn't deal with people at times. I consider myself an introvert because it‘s super exhausting for me to interact with people all the time and I need a lot of alone time to recover. Being introvert doesn't mean being shy or lazy. An extrovert, on the other hand, thrives and get energized from social interactions. This girl is just pure lazy and too comfortable.

I don't know about depression being involved here but to me it looks like they are both frustrated with their lives. They lived together before their marriage and the wife probably had no plans of marrying him but had to because she got pregnant. She probably realised this later and hence has little to no affection for her child. Probably she blames her husband for things and troubles him by calling again and again for the same things and not doing any chores to make him regret. If that's the case she seems quite childish and unhappy with her marriage. The relationship seems to be falling apart to me and the baby will suffer because of her.

Yeah and I think the fact that she can go out to drink but is lazy enough to do household chores means she has serious problems. I always think that family-planning should be placed first always because in the end, the child will be the one to suffer the most. I hope that she tries to change slowly for her family and I hope that they can get to the bottom of their problems and get rid of them.

My husband was like this in the beginning of our marriage. He didn't know how to order food, talk on the phone, ask for anything, or speak to authority. He frequently messed things up or shut down and got nervous. He spent his teenage and young adult years studying, working, and going home and pretty much doing whatever his parents wanted him to do. Like a robot. He never had a chance to do anything on his own or make his own decisions so when it came to doing things on his own he froze it. It appeared like laziness at first but it was actually indecisiveness, social anxiety, and shame.

I know a lot of people in my home town that are so called "stay at home moms" but yet they do nothing just like the woman in the video. They want someone to take care of them without having to do anything. A lot of people, especially now, think that being a stay at home mom means you don't have to work hard which I feel is a bunch of bull. Whenever I watch this show with married couples and the fact that the reoccurring problem happened even before they get married makes me think even strongly that they get married just to get married. I just feel like there is either no true love in the relationship or it's just a one sided thing.

It really could be a combination of her already existing, undiagnosed neurodivergence (ADHD or autism maybe) which became worse with postpartum perhaps. It looks very different in different women but it is very likely the poor woman is going through her silent battles without even realising it's a problem; why she confidently just say "I'm lazy" The problem may be way more than just her being a "lazy" person. Laziness is always a symptom of unaddressed blockers or trauma

I'm obviously not making a professional diagnosis, it's my opinion that she's very likely dealing with mental health problems like anxiety or depression. What her husband and her described is not normal or healthy at all, you don't need a PhD to know an inability to complete simple tasks clearly points in that direction. It sounds like you think I'm insulting her, but i'm not. Struggling with mental health problems is nothing to be ashamed of. What's hella rude is you writing her off as 'flat out lazy' or even dumb/selfish like the other commenters are saying. And like I said before, the husband doesn't seem to understand she might be dealing with this, plenty of people don't know much about mental health and warning signs.

I believe it’s possible she is suffering from depression. I’ve always been an extremely tidy and organized person (more than the average person), but once some bad stuff happened to me in the last few years, and very quickly I became a lazy and dirty person. All of a sudden my tolerance for dirty things or broken things was really high; things was go unwashed for weeks and if things broke, I’d just go without, instead of getting it fixed. Depression, not just laziness, could be possible here.

You haven't built up the confidence or critical thinking skills to fend for yourself, and then you fuck up majorly when you actually try. People look down on you, underestimate you, or minimize you, and your brain tells you all these things and worse. It's shameful. It's paralyzing. I am a lazy young wife as well, with a hard working supportive husband. We have been together since we were in High School (I’m 21..) I can tell you that despite me being lazy it all comes down to not making excuses, I lack motivation and drive, have low energy and would rather sleep in and play games all day, but my husband goes through so much, and he works so hard to get me the things I want, we go grocery shopping and he buys whatever food I want to make, and yet we still go out to eat often. He makes good money and isn’t cheap with me. He confronts me often as he doesn’t feel appreciated, but the thing is he has to explain EVERYThing I did wrong as I don’t notice for some reason? I grew up a single child with an overprotective mother who divorced and remarried. My mother would do everything for me and make all my decisions. She would tell me what to wear what to eat what to say... I feel like this affected my personality, I also moved a lot (every year we lived in a new place) so I got used to not trying on anything because I knew all my friends and all my school things.. everything would be left behind... I love my family and I don’t blame them, I chose to be this way and have allowed myself to fall in this deep hole... I started crying the other day because I realize I’m an adult and I found myself arguing with m husbands 9 year old sister.. WHY? I don’t know how to act or do so many things... I can’t fight or argue, I get emotional easily, and discouraged... My parents left the country and now I’m all alone with my husband , and I feel so sad and alone, but he is very supportive and I have to just try my best to change, I cannot slow myself to lose everything I care about just because I “don’t feel like doing things” ... I don’t know why I wrote such a long comment :( anyways... we all have to work hard on ourselves to be who we really want to become and to change for the better 😭

Since your mother didn't let you do things on your own, you didn't learn to. Kids learn through mistakes. If a kid falls climbing something, he will get hurt, but then he'll know he shouldn't do the same mistake or be careful. But if your mother keeps you from falling, you won't learn. You might learn that it's dangerous to make decisions on your own, because you might get hurt, so it's better to rely on your mother, it's also easier. You didn't learn that it's not the end of the world if you get hurt. You won't learn how to make your own decisions, therefore you won't learn to be confident. Maybe you learned some of these things too, even if a little. Anyone who would have been raised the same way you've been would have turned exactly like you. You say you're trying your best, I cheer for you. You're good, keep going.

Exactly, I agree with the previous reply. That's a problem your parents caused to you and it has nothing to do with depression. It's the babying stuff that parents don't understand how badly it affects the kids in the future. That's why this girl in the video has no signs of depression. In your case I think you understand your mistakes but you can't change easily. But in the girl in the video, she has no idea of her mistakes or attitude. I don't understand why people keep talking about depression when it's clearly not that the main point.

I don't get why everyone is sweet-talking and making excuses for her? She is plain lazy. She might have gotten everything from her grandma and doesn't know what to do, but that's why this behavior towards her can't keep going on. She has to listen and take her responsibilities! She just can't rely on her husband 24/7 and watch TV or sleep instead... or make as much for him and her baby, that it's just enough to 'survive' (I hope you guys get what I mean). I was so frustated because they just kept talking against a wall. She doesn't realize or understand (but on the other hand, she kinda got this by explaining that her grandma raised her like this... so idk) that she is lazy and not a help for her husband and baby. Yes, her husband should be supporting her a little more, but he works till 10pm and then does the household because she couldn't done it by herself even tho she's home all day. It's normal that you would flee to gaming or something that relaxes you, after that. And yes, she has to take care of her baby but srsly, it's not as hard as it sounds like. Of course it's not easy but still more than doable. It's not much that is expected from her, but it's still too much for her. That really irritates me.

Saying someone is depressed because they are just not bothered is like saying someone coughing means they have lung cancer. Diagnosis should be run by unbiased doctors on a personal meeting not by a bunch of randos and that one medical student. I get it she is a bit too chill but again we are seeing her for the first time. I know people who suffer front depression and yes they do get lazy but it much deeper than that. My sister is the youngest and only have 3 brothers(including me), so my parents are a bit softer and spoil her more than me and my bros. She is by no mean what you call a 'spoilt brat' but she really cant do anything by herself. she has a really hard time communicating with other people, and she even need to ask my mother when she needs to pee,(there was a time she peed herself in our own home because of this, she was 15 or 16 that time i think). Im really worried about her future. My parents should have been stricter to her. But overall she is a really nice girl. I think she has never cursed her entire life XD.

Before highschool, I already knew how to make food and do household chores. Though I was lazy in between those times, I still tried to correct myself little by little. As for my sister, she can't seem to think for herself. She always asks "what to do next?" , "where is it located/ is it okay?". She doesn't do anything if not told every step of the way. But aside from that, she does listen when I ask her to buy/ get something for me . I just hope that she get more sense of responsibility and self reflection on what to improve so she will not stagnate.

This is a prime example why you should wait to get intimate in a relationship so you can see a person for who they truly are. Clearly, the wife doesn’t know her role in a marriage. My heart breaks for the husband. Mutual love, respect, and attention to one another is key. One spouse works so the other one has to step up and take care of home! Come on!!!

A person who suffers from depression is more likely to have post partum depression after birth of a child. Usually stronger. When you suffer from depression you become numb...you don't feel or think like a person who does not suffer...you lose interest in life, cleaning, cooking, taking care of yourself is a mission. to someone who suffers it seems like a very huge task and they don't have motivation or energy to do something so small. They have no energy and the happiest they feel is when they sleep...This is why people who suffer in silence end up ending thier lives, because noone understand the suffering and battle they are fighting with in themselves. Its a war that they constantly fight in thier head. And it's very lonely because they have noone who understand what they are going through...then they are labeled as crazy, lazy, weak, and made to feel worst then they already do. My heart breaks for her and I hope she gets the help she needs mentally before she does something to herself.

@@candace270584 But for some reason, her face suggests that she is in fact super depressed. I observed the husband's facial expressions at the same time and he seems the type of impatient person who'd make you feel down if you made even one mistake. Laziness isn't something ingrained into us by birth, it is caused by how we are brought up and then later on part of us becomes our fault when we refuse to change our habits. However, when you live around people who are toxic or make you feel undervalued, life becomes dull and you end up wanting to do nothing even when you want to. And that at times is how people end up committing suicide even because nobody really understands as to how blocked their nerves have become. People in this day and age really don't understand how neurological and psychological disorders work and that's a big issue. If you could just see in how stress tangles up your nerves above your spinal cord, you'd understand what I am talking about. Your brain basically stops functioning even when you want it to.

Go search it up, study it and then come back to discuss it like a rational person instead of screaming shit in CAPS. 🙄🙄🙄 Animals and humans have a different biological structure with regards to expressions. Humans have expressions with regards to smiling, sadness etc. 🙄 Actually, even animals have certain expressions but I don't think I want to discuss biology with a person like you. 🙄 Our nerves systematically react in a manner that we have adapted from our surroundings through observations so yes micro expressions tend to be similar in most people. For relevancy, you can read read up on reports where even the Homeland Security uses it. 🙄

But you can see her holding back her tears throughout and when Narsha spoke, her tears finally went out. I hope they continuously tried to talk to her with open-ended questions instead of just a yes or no ones because I feel like she has stuffs buried in her mind which can actually help find the root or even help her express her emotions :( instead of being mad I'm starting to feel sad for her. I hope she finds help. This show really needs a psychologist D:

Well I mean they know they aren’t going to a professional counselor so why get man at the show. They’re the ones who decided to go on the program to try and win the cash prize at the end. Instead of going to get actual help this is why the show is a variety show, which means it isn’t serious it is a show to provide entertainment.

Bro. I’m a home body but I make sure the house is clean for my husband he works 12-13 hours a day. I work 8 hours a day. He’s from Morocco so I’ve learned some dishes where he’s from. Chicken and olive Tagine, Kefta, lentil soup with chicken, Harira. There’s a joy in cooking. I guess since I’ve been doing it since I was nine it’s easier but my sister who didn’t start cooking until a couple years ago has learned a lot despite it not being her favorite. Being married and having your husband work full time, it would be nice and helpful to make sure he’s fed. Also having a child and being too lazy to keep the health of the child a priority is horrible. She needs to rethink her laziness and have some drive about herself.

She probably didn't have a great sense of self before getting married and after being married and raising a kid, she seems a little lost. She's probably relying on her husband for happiness but since he's at work all the time and doesn't give her attention when he's back, she just cruises through life without much thought or emotion.
