great channel transition. to be honest the ol' catch and cook was beginning to get stale, so this is a fresh way to mix it up and also let us know whas' good up in the bay.

Love the way the channel is evolving Fisherman's Life. You are truly an inspiration to others on how to seek and add new followers on the catch, clean, and cook. I rarely ever go fishing without my wife. She is not only my good luck charm but is one of the few who actually outfishes me. We mostly fish the Missouri River between Pickstown and Yankton SD. Lots of different kinds of fish but walleye and sheepshead drum are the best! I do miss fishing were you are since I grew up in the area in the 60’s and 70’s. Sadly even if we came out there to visit family I would never get her on a boat. She is terrified of the ocean. Can’t blame her since she was born and raised on the Rez here where she is a tribal member.

Probably my favorite video of yours that I’ve seen. Love all your videos, but seeing man and wife fish and gather from what is God given and turn it into a romantic meal is seeing what life is all about. I’m showing this to my wife and telling her we will do this someday. Amazing video Matt’s!

Awesome video! Love the “let’s take it to restaurant and have it cooked by the pros” element. Always fun to see different preparations of the things we catch. Not that the fried in butter thing you do is bad- we’ve all been there. Just enjoy the chefs’ legit connections to fresh caught fish; they appear to respect and appreciate the freshness of the raw food qualities. Well done 👍, let’s do some more.

That bone in the Squid is called the "Quill". The Cuttlefish has the "Cuttle-Bone" that's used in bird cages for Parakeets and Cockatiel birds to sharpen their beaks on. 😆😂🤣

I have watched Moo Moo catching the squid but watching a Chef prepare it is priceless. I'll give Mission Rock a try next time my wife and I are in the city. I have only caught squid once on a party boat and they were really small compared to those. Fresh squid, it isn't just for bait anymore!!! Seriously, I would also be packaging and storing them for crab season!! Married?? When did that happen? Congratulations guys!!

Hey a pro tip for the squid jigs. Use the flashlight on your phone to charge them up really quickly and makes them glow really bright, much brighter then just leaving them in the sun.
