Thanks for watching with us! Don't forget all of Bad Batch is available on Patreon, and Jen is doing a rewatch of Star Wars to sew how her feelings on the movies have changed since she first watched them. I posted Episode 3 there yesterday and Rogue One is next for those of you interested.

Did yall catch that Baylan mentioned Sabine's family died in the purge on Mandalore? Her father, her mother, and her brother were in seasons 3 & 4 of Rebels. It explains a lot about Sabine's emotional state and why her and Ahsoka haven't been on good terms.

It’s pretty understandable why Sabine gave away the map. It was a stupid thing to do but it was human. She’s in a bad spot mentally, she just saw Ahsoka get knocked off a cliff, and if she did destroy the map, Baylan would’ve killed her immediately. Not an easy position to be in

The reasoning for the speculation that Marrok was Starkiller is that Sam Witwer (the voice of Starkiller) is involved with this project. Galen Marek, Marrok same sounding name. Turns out it was a reanimated body through nightsister magicks!

It makes me so happy seeing Hayden in Star Wars again, with Kenobi and now this... And that everyone collectively seems to be happy about it also.

I think they put Sabine in the middle of things because she's the only one who would ignore the bigger picture for the sake of getting her friend back. She's very Mandalorian, who are fiercely loyal at a personal level. She might think that they managed to beat Thrawn at the height of the Empire, so they might have a good shot at beating him when he's leading only a few remnants of it against the entire New Republic.

Hera literally set this up in Episode 1: "She'll do it, for Ezra."

Ray Stevenson was in the Thor movies, btw. He played Volstagg, the big bearded guy with the axe. He was also in King Arthur with Clive Owen and Keira Knightley, the '04 version. You should put it on the list of things to watch, they did some great fight scenes and an interesting spin on the Arthurian legend.

Holden, if Sabine didn't give in, they would possibly lose their chance to find Ezra forever. Ezra himself asked her to find him before he left with Thrawn.

Sabine is probably the most human character written. She is someone that has lost everything, failing at everything and the only thing she really has going for her is the hope that Ezra is alive and will come back. Losing someone close to you is such a devastating thing to experience so it would absolutely make sense for Sabine to give them map up. Shes at her lowest point, her family died, kanan died, ezra is gone, ahsoka bailed on her, and the ghost crew split up. Of course shes going to make bad choices and not be at her best lol. Shes not really trained on not giving into her emotion like other Jedi/padawan and she probably feels overwhelmed with sadness.

Was genuinely hilarious to me that Marrok just screamed and turned to dust. Listen guys, not everyone in a mask needs to be something. Sometimes they can just be a bad guy lol.

I actually completely understood Sabine giving the map over. Priority number 1 for her is getting Ezra back. I always knew that, it was very clear. Ahsoka isn’t trainer her the same way Anakin trained her. She has overcorrected and expects Sabine to drop her attachment for the greater good. That all good when someone dies and cannot come back, but in Sabines mind getting Ezra is more important than stopping Thrawn. Thrawn can be stopped after we find Ezra

Something that im noticing a lot of people are missing is that we learned that Sabines family (parents and brother) and possibly whole clan is dead when baylien read sabines mind, which in my opinion makes all of her actions up to this point completely understandable. If you remember how she reacted when she thought Tristan and her mom died and connect it to this, if anything sabine is calm.

Baylan bringing up Anakin right before their tussle seemed like strategy. And it worked. It got Lady Tano off her game. She also only fought with one lightsaber. Which isn't normal for her.

You need to realize that this takes place 9 YEARS after the Battle of Yavin, so something like 6 years after the Battle of Endor. That's why it's not surprising to see Anakin's force ghost since we saw it already 6 years ago along with Obi-Wan and Yoda.

There's a couple people saying Anakin doesn't have his but Vader's saber on his belt and no, that's Anakin's.

It's worth mentioning that since we've seen Sabine in Rebels, her mother, brother, and entire tribe on Mandalore has been wiped out. In her defence, she probably has some unresolved grief
