No one gonna mention how this man just casually produced straight fire with a car
As soon as you busted out the cowbells, I was hoping you'd mention how you (or your audience) needed to have more of them 😂

Hey Eric. Just wanted to say your channel has been such an inspiration for me. My freshman year of hs I was the worst player in the perc section, I was so unbelievably bad. Then I discovered your channel which inspired me to make a change. I practiced every day, by the end of my sophomore year I was the section leader. Last week I auditioned on snare for an indoor percussion group and yesterday I received an email offering me a spot on snare. Sorry if I sound like a rookie, this is my first marching percussion experience outside of hs band. Just wanted to say thank you for making your videos and your channel has changed my life and helped me do what I love. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
All the parts of the drumset together was my favorite part!
7:51 The buildup to that joke was just amazing. 😂

Wow! Your commitment to the “it sounds like this” bit is legendary. Well done sir.
I don't normally dish out compliments casually but damn watching you play the weird instruments you've made underscores what a talented percussionist you are lol
that car part is the best thing i’ve ever heard
i loved the marimba and glockenspiel, you should get more of the keyboard style percussion, those are some of my favorite types of percussion.

As a bass clarinet and bari sax sax player on his first year on tenor drums, go for it, the earlier you practice for it and start out the better
@Sxuthexst

And the best part is all you really need to practice percussion is just a pair of sticks and some surface with either some bounce or no bounce like a pillow

He can make any percussion instrument sound good
You should also try some brass instruments. I think that would be an awesome idea for a video.
You have to post a tutorial on how to sweep the tenors please please !!
“What percussion instrument do you play?” This guy: Yes
When you brought the cow bells out I was thinking “Not enough cowbells” and then later you brought more and I started laughing 😂

Hey Eric, this video was amazing! I really loved the marimba part with the super Mario brothers 3 song. Can you post the sheet music I would love to play it myself and maybe more mario songs?

The Gok block gives back nightmares
I have watched and liked a number of your videos but first time commenting. I find it funny that your largest bass drum is 24in. When I was marching in band in 1987-1990 our smallest bass drum was 32 in and it was carried by a female. I marched the second to largest bass drum my freshman year which was a 42 in. When I was a senior I moved to the Slingerland tri-toms our school had which were 14, 16 and 18 in. that only lasted for about a month then we got new Yamaha equipment and I played the 10, 12, 13, 14 in quads. There were other schools with larger budgets in our area that did have "quints" at that time but the bass drums were still much larger than the ones carried today. Sideline percussion wasn't a thing yet and we also marched a bass guitar with an amp that had a twin 15 in speaker cabinet. Since reliable wireless connections were still very expensive at the time the marching band recruited non instrument playing students to push the amp on the field for shows and parades. We used a marine battery with an inverter to power the amp on the field and parades but it was powered through an extension cord for playing in the stands. Also we didn't use any instrument stands for marching equipment at all, so whenever we played our marching percussion we had it on the carrier this included all practices in the band room and playing in the stands.
That Black panther snare sounds pretty dang good.
Great video! Are you ever gonna do the same thing but with all of the mallets/sticks and stick bags that you have?
Dang man we can tell
You need to get an Aluphone! They sound awesome!

Where did you get the roto tenor drums because I cant find them anywhere.
It would've been even more amazing if you showed us your sticks!
At 5:51 I thought he was finna do the Phil Collins drumfill 😂
i wished I had a 14x5 snaredrum
The fact that he played jig 2 on cowbells😂❤🎉
yay new vid
i think this guy likes drums
Jig 2 on cowbells go hard
I need that 14x6 snare
I have 5 cowbells. I’ve never paid for one. People always give them to me. 😆. Tambourines too. I’ve bought onw in my life. I have maybe 4
Missed an opportunity to have a joke where you'd say: "This is a flub drum, it sounds like this:" and then just have you playing with no sound :D :D :D
I think remo drumheads are the real winner here
Don't know if anyone has told you yet, but the tambourine is actually a beatring. Tambourines are round have a head on them.
It’s jig 2 on the cowbells for me😂
So happy BBC made it!! Lol!!!!!!!
I really want you to play tig 2 using 2 different tenor quads
That was incredible hahahaha
Kitchen 8s fire
I thought for a second that I had forgotten to set it back to normal from 2x playback speed, but no, I do have it at normal speed, and he really is this fast in real life
