Nope it's Waffen SS and if you ran into a guy dressed like this, it would be on the front lines in combat , the field gray uniform is distinctly a combat uniform in the SS with field green being used by the Wehrmacht and Gestapo (the Gestapo was a civilian law enforcement agency which had no period equivalent, but it's duties would make it similar to the CIA)

@@fasa_real not true at all. The SS and upper echelon Nazi uniforms were designed by Karl Diebitsch and Walter heck. Hugo Boss produced them, among a few other clothing brands in Germany at that time.

Just a bit of advice, your ammo pouches are too far apart, German soldiers always had them about a centimeter alway from the belt buckle. I always suggest getting personal items to feel up your breadbag such as a rifle cleaning kit, esbit stove, sewing kit, etc which is useful when in the field, assuming you go to reenactments in the field. Flat bread bags weren't common. Lastly I highly recommend weathering your uniform and gear especially your feldbuse and ammo pouches..it looks way too new and clean. After that you can improve your impression greatly 👍 P.S... please loop the Canteen strap through the leather loop on the breadbag, otherwise you feldflashe is just going to flop around and slowly rip your d ring.

He got captured by the Russians, escaped when the truck stopped, got shot, broke his leg, and made it BACK TO GERMANY FROM RUSSIA, and lived out the rest of the war in Belgium. I know it doesn't add anything to this video, I just think it's a very badass and cool story.

I don't see many CCP reenactors tbh. Mostly just nationalist China. They're probably more common in Chinese reenactment however thats kind of taboo there. Especially since somebody has to play the Japanese and you can pretty much be thrown in jail for wearing a Japanese uniform.

Huh. You know this feels like a grey area to me. I mean I'm gay and one time at am airsoft match in the prep area I saw a dude with a patch with the word "homophobic" just plainly displayed. When I co trotted and asked him why he had that his response was "because this is apart of my religion as a Muslim" even though it was some overweight white guy in a t-shirt and jeans with 1 tacticool vest on. Why is it that so many of the world's "war-crime divisions" have the best drip?? The SAS (both modern and back when they were first founded) and the Waffen SS both have had some pretty dope uniforms, though unfortunately most of what both groups did over the years wasn't exactly legal in the laws of war, nor ethically or morally right.

Wunderschöne Uniform

As a Marine Corps veteran who loves historical reenacting, I only ever go as SS, or an Italian paratrooper. I don't want to be a GI. Been there, done that. Playing as the bad guy in any OPFOR is always way more fun anyways. You get to yell insults in German/Italian, get taken hostage, arrested, and sometimes executed. You also get to be as dramatic as you want when you die.
