After watching this whole series I feel like there’s more meaning as to why vtubers refer to they’re artists and rigger’s as “mama” and “papa” it really is like your giving life to these characters throughout the entire process it’s amazing.

She looks so good brought to life! 😭 I loved watching this series. Your drawing style makes her really unique from other V-tubers for sure :)

here are some ideas for if you intend on refining the model in the future: potentially adding transitional textures for eyes closing, they look fine when you blink, but if one of the eyes stays closed, texture issues become noticeable adding legs would be nice, and if you feel like adding ability to switch between legs and the ghosty lower half (don't know the proper term so this will do) at the end of the day for your first time, the model looks great

This turned out amazingly! I didn’t know much about how v-tubers were made before watching this series, and it *almost* inspired me to make my own. But i know i’d never get past the rigging part.

Seeing how complicated vtubing can be makes me think that animation is actually a lot easier and kind of motivates me to try it more often

ah i love to see you play with animation scenes like the sketching one! also the model is very impressive!

Vtube studio actually recently released hand tracking! It does mean you'll have to edit your model to support it and rig a hand model and such though. I tested it and it works really well in the preview, though I don't have a model that supports it yet but based on just the preview skeleton it was super accurate! As far as I know you'll have to sue the webcam for hand tracking, but I think you can use both webcam and mobile device for tracking so no issues if so. With enough tutorials you can probably implement this into your model.

I just wanted to let you know, you can adjust the parameters in VTube studio settings, so just in case the tracking doesn't emphasize the way you'd like, you can manually adjust it! I recently got oral surgery and can't open my mouth as much for the time being, so I adjusted the inputs so it reads better :) If you need any help or tips, I'd be more than happy to share what I know!

It’s amazing how the model ended up looking like you did amazing especially for your first time making a full on vtuber!

Looks amazing! Not going to say it's "the best rigging I've ever seen!" but it still is pretty damn good, good stuff 😁

Thanks for this video! It was really interesting to see how vtubers prepare and make their models (although most of them order them from artists). It was especially interesting because the style of your model is different from the usual anime, which makes everything even more difficult. But you're good, anyway, I still think the result is very cute and unusual!
