Hello, everyone!
I thought that I would show you my vintage personal teacup collection. I've been a teacups seller on IG for many years (I import them from USA, Canada and the UK), but as you will see here, I don't have a massive collection, but a carefully selected one, which has bit of history or story. I'm slowly adding to my collection every now and then, as I love selling teacups as much as I love collecting them.

The Okura (?) tea cup and saucer is my favorite. It is super gorgeous! I also love the Adderly with the violets.

Hi! You can get fabulous teacups in the UK, even eBay has loads of them at very affordable prices
I love looking at nice things and your tea cup collection did not disappoint. 💐🌼🌸I have a small collection myself but most of them have been packed for quite a while as I am moving to Makati. The move is long delayed but hopefully I can unbox them all soon.

YES pinoys love fine china lol. I'm in the US now and it's not super big here, it seems.
I’m not really into the old country roses or Royal Albert in general. There are lots more China patterns that are prettier and more affordable than RA. Here in US, there are a lot of fine China that is worthy of the durability and beautiful design even if it’s not a well known brand. Noritake is one of them.

Yes, true. I grew up with the Noritake brand of dinner set and everywhere here in the Philippines. It’s only now that Royal Albert is gaining a foothold.
Very nice collection
We like the same things, Rina. I recently found some used Johann Haviland teacups and saucers which is German made, at our thrift store. I always look for tea cups at thrift stores. What is the difference between a saucer and tea plate? Also could you do a video on how to package fragile items like these for shipping?Thanks

Hi Naomi. Yes, I have sold Johann Haviland teacups and plates as well. It's a line of Limoges France and Limoges is very collectible and sought-for. A saucer is where the teacup sits snugly. It has a round ring so that the teacup will settle into it and not easily slide. The tea plate is slightly bigger than the saucer and it's what you use for the pastries or sweets you're having with your tea 😊. When together - teacup, saucer, tea plate - it's called a teacup trio 😊. I will try to film a video packing very fragile items in the future.
