@@spriteearthworm6463 I’m sure that your endeavor will bear fruit, but honestly it’s not too important whether or not it’s finished imo. It’s neat, but I don’t mind too much if it’s incomplete. Wasting time over what could’ve been is fruitless

Dunno why this popped up in my recommended, but damn I'm glad that it did. I enjoyed all the little touches you put into the animation, like Yellow's axe snapping out of the axe as the hit connects, not after, the different angles on some of Mecha-Sonic's attacks and additional animations on some of his finishers (like pink and Green). I greatly enjoyed the beatdown and execution of Yellow here far more in the original. It felt more brutal and more akin to Mecha's character to add insult to injury. Red's giant laser beam being comedically ineffective from the start of the blast and stops the trigger out of shock, then Mecha finishing him far faster than in the original (I miss the Akuma background effect, but it just wasn't needed here.). Really, super cool stuff. Love this reanimation of this particular fight. I hope you do other SMBZ reanimated fights if you feel like it in the near future.

It's been three years, besides some promises maybe not meant to be. But at least Original Creator who made SMBZ already release Episode 2 remake. So there some chances he'll made episodes sooner the future.

Great animation! Only one thing I noticed: It feels like the lasers lacked impact or were just too fast (e.g.: Axem ranger red's big weapon's laser or Mecha Sonic's Kamehameha looking beam). It was totally amazing nonetheless! Keep improving! =)

You should probably try tackling a big project with plot, too that's 8 minutes or longer. I think that'll help propel your channel farther than it is now and put you on the map of known animators.

.... This was even more brutal than the original. Kinda wish it was in English, but I knew all the lines by heart, so it doesn't matter. You should do more. I really mean it. Sprite Animations are the hidden gold of the Sonic Fanbase, and we need more of them. This was great.

Not gonna lie this was pretty solid. I just think to effects of each hit were too flashy that you couldn't see the strike connect. But other than that nice job.

Being able to remake the scenes in a more refined form is one thing, but knowing the actual story and planning from both the original and reboot is another. AlvinEarthworm did mention that one reason he didn't want to hand the reins over to someone else is because that happened when Akira Toriyama did just that with Dragon Ball going to Toei; it ended up with Dragon Ball GT, which was widely regarded as garbage. It would make sense that AlvinEarthworm wouldn't want his series to end up like that.

If everyone hated gt as you claim they wouldn't be making an appearance in db fighterz, db heroes, xenoverse 1&2, and etc. Plus Akira said he likes gt and it takes place in a separate timeline.

Lot of people saying that he should remake the series, and while I agree that this is a really good re imagining of the original, that's all it is a re imagining. it's completely different to remake something that you already have a basis for, and to animate and come up with a story yourself from scratch. that's not to say he can't do it, his skills with animation are clearly visible in this video, but I'm sure this guy would like to be using and refining his skills for hinself, because he loves it. and not end up like Alvin earthworm originally was, tired and burnt out of having to do it because people demanded it.

Great job! I wonder how this would look if Metallix model was used. It always puzzled me in the original why mecha sonic was the villain of destroyed in sonic 3. I like how Metallix is the combination of silver Sonic (Sonic 2), Metal Sonic (Sonic CD), Mecha Sonic (Sonic 3), and Silver Sonic MK II (Sonic Adventure).

You know, the remake in this was way very nice in terms of dimentions, but the main problem I catch in this battle is indeed the pacing of the sequences between each battle, along with the annoying shines and blur rays around the scene that obscures the speed and saturates a lot the scene which causes the battle to be not entertaining at all. However, the ideas and sequences are really nice and the script of the battle is overall ok. Keep going!
