I would like to comment for the awareness of miscarriage. I did go through the same. I'm going to break it up into different parts. Part 1 Miscarriage : To keep it simple and short, I got pregnant the same month when we started to plan for family. before my first scan, it ended up in something called chemical pregnancy - which shows all the signs of being pregnant but not actually pregnant. My HCG levels which were supposed to skyrocket around 6 weeks was not were it should be. Had abdominal pain with usual period. I think i was out of this pretty quickly and was going about my normal life. Gave it a month or two and we tried again. This time around, i did pregnant immediately as well. Every doctor visit was a nightmare. Finally we made it through first ultrasound to confirm there was a sac (First actual sign of real pregnancy), however we didn't see fetus neither the heartbeat. Doctor asked us to wait out another week to see if showed up (I knew something was not right- this was my deep feeling, however i denied my feeling and kept saying to myself that i will be a positive one). About 10 weeks we went in for another scan to see if we could see fetus. Unfortunately the sac hasn't grown past 8 weeks and there was bleeding inside the sac and no sign of fetus. At that point my doctor confirmed that it was not a healthy pregnancy. My doctor didn't want to take the route of D&C because of aftereffects. I was given two options - 1. wait out and have a natural miscarriage which could happen in couple of days . 2. Medical termination of pregnancy using pills which happens and administered only in presence of doctor in the doctor office with lot of paperwork. I chose the 2nd one (If its not healthy and why not do it immediately rather to wait out for the natural process because i couldn't carry anything in my heart anymore at that time. ). That was the most painful and worst night for me. I can't figure out any words that could describe the level of pain i had before passing out the sac. 8 hours of intense pain. Once i passed out the sac it became as normal period. It took about 10 days for my bleeding to stop. Even after that couple of days i had short-lived stabbing pain in my abdomen. Part 2 Follow-up after miscarriage : After every miscarriage / D&C , at least the country i live in has a protocol to follow. After 2 -3 weeks, there will be an ultrasound to check if the miscarriage was successful or if there was any remaining inside. This is done to prevent any infections/ complications later. (I'm not a doctor / an expert in this field - I'm sharing what was told to me by my medical professionals that took care of me) I was cleared after above two miscarriages mentioned in part 1. My periods resumed normally. Part 3 Break from everything: I went through a lot both physically and emotionally. My doctor reassured us that everything is fine with me and my husband. Things don't happen right away. The cause for my miscarriage is unexplainable since every possible tests that they performed turned out to be so normal and thats what they would expect from someone healthy. (weight, lifestyle habits, working out regularly all were in the right scale). Just wanted to make everyone aware that sometimes miscarriages could happen without any underlying reasons(I would not take this as a reason by yourself without getting clarified and reassured by a medical professional) . I wanted a refresher and took a break for 6 months. Spent my time with my mother . We traveled to Disney World, read books, focused on my work with much more concentration and took a step to climb up the ladder and worked really hard trying to forget what i went through. Honestly, it was such a refresher. I couldn't thank my doctor for suggesting me to take a break. After 6 months of my last miscarriage decided to try again . No matter how much break we take, the fear comes back again but i tried to stay positive as much as i could. Part 4 Healthy pregnancy (My rainbow baby girl) After the much needed break we embarked on this journey again. Prior to trying my doctor asked me to take prenatal multivitamin and folic acid for at least 3 months. This time around i followed it religiously and went on doing my everyday activities normally. When two pink lines showed up i was more anxious and everyday until that first ultrasound was a nightmare. Just when we saw that little heartbeat ,it gave us a ray of hope. I just wanted to freeze time at that moment since that was the moment we have been waiting for. From there this time around, it was a healthy pregnancy. To anyone out there reading this, Remember pregnancy may not be an easy path for all. Everyone has their own struggles. Lets respect and support moms-to-be in whatever possible ways that we can. My first baby delivered at 25 weeks of my pregnancy.. everybody ask me to abort that time..but my doctor don't want abort my baby..and we decided to go through c section..my baby born weight is 800gram.. only..after birth her weight reduced also.. she got admitted in NICU for 3 months..at that time she was infected 5 time in NICU..so many time she went to dealth line.. she is a real warrior. Now my baby is 5 years old..and her weight is 18kg Now I am in my second pregnancy waiting to meet my baby by next month I wrote my story for motivational purpose only.. thank u all and wish me to get healthy baby

I miscarried just before a month from due date.. on 13th Jan 2017.. they said IUD ... my fully grown baby was delivered by me without life... that was hell.. I thought no one should ever get this situation.. even my worst enemy shouldn't.. I hv a baby girl now gonna b 4 yrs old now

I had 5 miscarriages out of which 2 was after I had seen the heartbeat.. my heart breaks even now if I think about it.. I have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy last month.. Got lucky 6th time. I have been through all the emotions you just mentioned (multiplied by 6) 😞 On top of it, the mindless relatives pressure. I wish nobody ever goes through what I have been through.. May all wanna be moms become mommies asap 😀

Hi even iam living in banglore....Same happened to me Swetha ...after 2 yrs of fertility struggle this happens to me....now 6 yrs of marriage still waiting to get good news infertility struggle are so painfull tat too living alone with no help or support is really like a hell even friend and close family never understood spend lakhs so many injection scans painfull treatment still going on even i did the same mistake going to infertility center instead of going to gynecologist but still every day I wokeup to the hope one day my dream will come true for sure

Idk, I'm myself a female, 20. Not married, Long way to get married and all.. lol. I have heard, People feeling bad about miscarriages, I used to think - Why can people just move on and try for another.. before birth ye avlo emotional connect irukkuma ennanu..
