Pretty sure this guide targets high elo players to teach about nuances of bounty system. Gold elo insects can’t use abilities or lasthit, why would they bother themselves with death timers and macro decision making lol

This is a really good guide because you can tell its not just for beginners, and it's like opening our eyes to a different kind of fundamental skill-set that we've been missing out on.

The int is contagious. Death timers basically only work for Karthus and Sion because when they die, they can still push which forces the opponent to stay in lane rather than reset as well. I might be forgetting another champ with a death passive, but the only reason anyone would even track early death timers is if they can out push opponents after dying. His bounty thing is technically true, but he forgot to mention that bounty system only applies bounties to one side, so his inting strat actually artificially inflates his opponents' value which leads to their side usually having bounties. He tends to feed both the jungler and top so as long as his bottom and mid aren't stomping the shit out of the opponents, the other side will end up with bounties.

@@nuknukisdead it also works if you're proxying lol, that enlarge a lot the champ pool allowed to use it. You can basically proxy with any champ if it's about one wave, in more rare case it's also doable mid and bot

I'm a midlaner but this is a great general guide and it really helped improve my macro! I realize now more than ever the importance of farm and objectives and kills being the least, if a kill is there it's nice to have but there is no reason to go out of your way to chase them instead of making sure you get 10 cs per min and plating that way you get guranteed fed every game, I stopped chasing kills and let them come to me while focusing on my farm thanks baus!

Everyone has their own playstyle and needs to play to their style and strength. There are many styles to climb to high elo in this game, and taking the "I'm gonna focus on farming and objectives" mindset can get you in a really bad style of play if your champ is not built for it or if you don't do it correct. Every person on their climb has entertained the strat "I'm gonna focus on farm and split pushing only and rotate only for big objectives" sounds pretty on paper and still hardstuck gold. I'm currently a diamond 1 player and I was hardstuck plat for years, I recently found my playstyle is so be disruptive and to join as many teamfights as reasonably possible without giving up too much farm, plating and individual strength relative to my laner. I am a top laner who doesn't employ the split push strat. I play high mobility, utility and teamfight disruptive champs. How many games are determined/turned around by a huge teamfight before objectives. Even when you have a random hyper fed mid laner or draven or some shit, and they just do one fuck-up and get wiped and you completely turn the tempo? That's always my win con. I can never be a yorick or sion player, because that's just no me. Just giving you some insight.

Actually a really impressive guide. I understand his playstyle now, and honestly, he doesn't deserve his bans. Yea, everyone has bad games, but given his playstyle, if he has a bad game, his deaths will be a lot more than the average player. Most guides taught us how to survive in the game, minimizing deaths. But this guide teaches us how to maximize income regardless of how many times you die. Once you die a lot, the enemies will get lots of gold from your deaths, but they will quickly rack up a bounty. Using his playstyle, getting income without a bounty, you will be able to kill the enemies with massive bounties and get even more gold. This playstyle is honestly more fun than the typical, and maybe even better.

Always felt like Quinn was an insanely strong champion because you have so much free time with all her movement speed. It's cool to see how you find time to make time on other champs with proxying and death timers

I’m new to league and know of bauffs as the “int master” but this one video shows how deep he is thinking in his games and to be able to explain and teach that to us shows how intelligent he is. Never would have learned these tips anywhere else. Just got a new subscriber from me!!

I got more than 10 years watching multiple MOBAs, even got challenger in some other MOBAs but the death/bounty system type of info were truly eye opening.

If anything it works better in high elo. I find that whenever I try to stay side and get gold and towers on any top laner my team fights over literally nothing and it’s “my fault” for not being there. In high elo people fight for objectives and know how to play with a number disadvantage

Death timers shouldn't be based on game length, but death totals. Feeders should be kept from feeding.

People hate him because his play style was unorthodox. With this video it shines a little more on what his goal is, which is to maximize gold income. Even though he says it a lot in his streams that he is maximizing gold, it was hard to articulate how much gold his opponent has because Baus is just dying to them. Now however it's clear that he has more gold than his laner even if he dies a lot.

I watched this and improved a lot from its tips, im now a one trick sion and I have a lot of fun, and ALWAYS have an advantage against my opponent doesn't matter who it is. Ive been in situations where Im against a yone, which hard counters me and I cant fight him at all, but I still have gold advantage thanks to cs gap and platings. Its so dumb how this strategy works, and for me, someone who isnt that good mechanically but likes being smart about stuff, this works incredibly well. Eventually in late game you are unstoppable and I usually carry in it. Just wanted to leave this here, thank you very much I have a lot of fun playing this game, it is my new playstyle and I absolutely love it

Baus is 5head, he's helping tank Sion dodge nerfs by inspiring his fanboys to play 45% winrate prowler's claw and lower his overall winrate. Then when Riot does nerf Sion, they nerf the AD build because they really want silvers to stop griefing with their 6 cspm 'the Baus we have at home' cosplay.
