I dated a Romanian stripper, in Canada, about twenty years ago and, you know, I can understand the dynamic you described in the bar, with the girl going between the father-of-her-kids bf and the short-term bf that had her on salary. Sometimes I'd show up to the bar to have a beer before picking her up at the end of her shift. Often times she would be chatting up customers when I was there. It was her job. It was how she made money. I didn't take exception to her doing her job (heck, that's where I met her), so that's perhaps what might have been happening in your situation. The long-time bf was probably happy to have the new bf giving her a salary. The situation probably meant there weren't as many calls from the girl asking for extra cash, in addition to what she was already getting out of him. As far as my Canadian stripper gf and I, she turned out to be the only girl I ever initiated a break-up with. As soon as I got the feeling that she was "playin' the game" with me (where I felt like I was becoming just a taxi service for her), I cut her off. But when things were good with my stripper gf, I didn't mind her making bills at the club...it helped to pay for the life we were sharing. Great story, Webby!

Sad but amusing little story, poor guys are their own worst enemies. It's the wild west of sex tourism, you are aware of the realities as we have seen, but most of us are not so experienced. I'm glad you can see the funny side and it's there for sure, but there's a tragic side too that these poor fellows have fallen for this fallacy of love in the bars. It's sex. Physical not romantic. Anyway looking forward to the live stream, which I can listen to while I work on my latest project. I had a friend who paired up with a Thai lady for many years, he travelled with her and brought her to my workshop to meet me. He was pretty wealthy and bought a number of guitars I made, and a generally nice guy. To be honest she was a nice person, and they were mostly happy from what I could see, living in the village and travelling the world. He built the house and funded the village, but found it a bit tiresome and described them as greedy. In the end, he phoned me one day to ask me to go to his family farm in England for a wake type party for the lady had died. I met her a few times and she was nice, but I resisted her attempts to get me to go out to Thailand and pick a village girl, since I was divorced recently. Anyway I was working to pay off the second mortgage, so wasn't really free to do whatever; and now the house is paid for and I'm retired and am actually free I've got better things to do. The party was a nice affair and we saw her off in style, She was a good influence in the main, but expensive as all ladies are; still fond memories of her coming over for the day several times and she did like the music, you could see it in her face. Maybe you and your mate were a useful independent referee/public address system for her to regain her personal karma in relation to her duty to her children (and their father).
