I guessed 605 in the community post ! Love the turborado content! Those gtx turbo are no joke my 2.2 litre on the same turbo dose 518 whp on 19 psi on pump gas and spools before 4500 and holds power all the way to 8700 and they sound amazing hard to beat for the 700 $ they cost 💯

The 5.3 is the strongest boost motor from factory it’ll hold 1293hp as the current record is on a factory bottom end. I’ll put it over the ls3 and under the cast iron 6.0 only because the bigger bore will give u more power N/A and can be bored to and LS3.

@@mrhatchyK24 every stock bottom end iron block 5.3 can handle 1200hp I even seen a an aluminum 5.3 bored to a 5.7L hold 1k with twin 66/67s in a c6. I’ve studied all variations of the LS including the failure point of each and the automatic transmissions capabilities and how to make em stronger and the 5.3 is the budget friendly power motor

@@mrhatchyK24 @richardholdner has done a lot of dyno test on dozen of combinations of the 4.8 and the 5.3 u can check out his channel on how they performed. I’d definitely upgrade the pump cam heads intake and headers if running nitrous. The heads are bit overkill but the long block itself is definitely and hv oil pump is definitely1200hp

I just built my first 1000hp auto transmission and it’s a 4L60e that I had 4L65e internals and some other billet parts and boost valves I can’t wait to put a motor in my C6 to see work!!

Cody didnt touch the bottom end. Just Boosted it and sent it. Truck has over 200k miles so rings shouldve gapped themselves by now. lol. He had another shop do a cam, LS9 head gaskets, and springs i believe.
