it doesn't matter if its a Ford, dodge, or chevy. This is what its about, taking pride in your ride and being a true enthusiast. nobody knows more about how to take chevy apart and put it all back together better than you sir. I find that awesome. too many kids today get handed $35K+ trucks, only to trash them in a matter of a few years due to lack of care.

Don't forget Toyota, all our trucks are made by hard working USA citizens in San Antonio, Texas. I take care of my 18 year old truck like it was worth more than its weight in gold and think it's great that others do too. Pride in ownership, it should be the American way.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely cool watching the buildup from start to now, far better than some seeing some truck a rich boy dropped a bunch of money into having someone else do. Clearly you took a lot of pride in this, worked hard, and got exactly what you wanted out of it. Nice work, and thank you for your service.

Forget rockwells-If you plan on street wheeling this, just keep it the way it is, maybe some taller or wider tires, If you are just building a bogger I would recommend 5 ton axles and some flotation tires. If you plan on doing any trail wheeling and/or rock crawling, ditch your 12" spring lift, and go with some coilovers, make some 4 links for the front and rear, some chromoly axles, re gear it and lockers. Oh and dont forget about bobbing the bed. -THAT should keep ya busy for a while.
