The bee symbol is known as the Napoleonic Bee as he chose it as his personal symbol when he became emperor. It is amongst other things a symbol of French industry. As well as continuing to be a popular symbol on French products there are many beehives on the rooftops of Paris buildings. Fortunately the resident bees survived the fire at Notre Dame cathedral in 2019 and Parisian rooftop honey can be bought in many shops. Many restaurants also have their own rooftop beehives and use the honey in their dishes. Even the Louis Vuitton shop has a beehive on its roof. That box is a lovely representation of genuine Parisian culture, what an enjoyable video!

Massive box

Macarons and macaroons are two different things. It was a long time before I realized that. A macaron is a sandwich-like cookie that's filled with jam, ganache, or buttercream. A macaroon is a drop cookie made using shredded coconut. Those glasses are beautiful and the boards are gorgeous. I only got to spend one day in Paris but I loved it.
