Now everyone loves Ohau.. or the Big Island to go to Kona and stuff.. but realistically it's a Major city in the tropics.. Honolulu is Los Angeles in the Tropics.. Now Kauai is laid back and has no HUGE Buildings.. Kauai has a building code that no new building can be taller than a Palm Tree so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the land, so when you see people showing videos of Kauai.. It almost looks like they are driving in the South Pacific and Kauai is mostly GREEN.. This is my favorate Island and have Family here too.. also if you want to get away from da Mainland hustle and bustle, this Island is what the Doctor ordered... and da food is always No Ka Oi !!!!

I think i prefer these islands over the super touristy ones. Both have there draws, this def is way more laid back

Yeah man the touristy ones are overrated. I rather enjoy Hawaii the way it's supposed to be enjoyed
The chickens were released during the hurricane INikki in 92 or 91 I can’t remember. When the hurricane hit it destroyed all the chicken coops, and ever since then chickens have wandered the island for the last few years. My ex’s dad used to kill them and cook them all the time lol

lol Im 50 yrs old and have lived on Kauai all my life. there have always been wild chickens running around iniki had nothing to do with that.
