It was extremely rough in Delaware at White Clay Creek. In my newest vid you can see how crazy the water was flowing. You did a lot better than I did opening day haha but I slayed em yesterday. Nice vid as always tight lines

We had the same issues. Spent all day at different spots. Finally got on them after even more rain in a level controlled park. My son (4) limited out in about 20 mins after that on salmon powerbait. Vid for that is up now. He's so happy! Can't believe the size of the rainbows they stock down where you are!

@garrybattle8908

ballpython1001 trout are Coldwater so that should have made it easier to catch them how cold?
@ballpython1001
7 жыл бұрын
touma illusion breaker for large trout this can sometimes be the case. However, the trout were stocked just a few days before the coldfront hit, and since fish can sense the low barometric pressure that occurs before a coldfront, they probably fed heavily and were full once the coldfront hit. Once it happened, barometric pressure skyrocketed so even fish that hadn't fed heavily before hand and were hungry were still going to be very lethargic and reluctant to bite. It doesn't necessarily have to do with the temperature of the water, instead it has to do with pressure.
@garrybattle8908
7 жыл бұрын
ballpython1001 okay thanks learned something really good now to find out what barometer pressure where I fish is.

Practical Questions: once you catch the trout what do you do? Kill it right away? If so, how? What do you put it in? Cooler? Bag? If you are not going to eat all of it right away will you freeze it? And if so, will you clean it first? Thanks! I'm rather new to trout fishing and hoping to go this Friday - Wissahickon or Pennypack?
@extremephillyfishing
7 жыл бұрын
Yes. I kill it right away, Sea-Money Fishing style. I put it inside a zip-lock bag (just my personal preference). I clean it up at home and usually eat it right away. If not, I freeze it after cleaning. For easier catch, Pennypack Creek. Tight lines and thanks for watching!
