Hi Heather!! I use only Folk Art brand paints. My go to paints are the multi surface paints and the Treasure Gold line. I hope that helps and thank you so much watching!

How do you keep the lids from sliding around ??? 🤔🤔🤔

Hi Frances!! Great question. I used to have an issue with that when I started making these pieces. One solution I discovered was that if I place or position the trim around the top of the piece and the lid just right, and the lid is sized correctly, that will hold the lid in place, pretty snugly actually. I think that's something I need to talk about a bit more on the channel because I bet others have that question too.
