To me, the best tycoons are the ones where you actually can be creative and build your own thing instead of just walking on buttons and then it builds it for you.

lumber tycoon 2 is better

2 player gun factory tycoon is my favourite. It was the first tycoon game I ever played and liked.

tropical resort is probably the best just because the game takes so long to finish and if you do finish theres a huge world to go around

i think busy business is the best tycoon as it is very inviting in design, doesn't use the dreaded circles, it's not just buying droppers, I can ramble on for basically forever on how good it is

my favorite one a fallout knockoff game called wasteland tycoon, it actually has pretty good weapons, many interesting features and not grindy
