I have important things to say here. I've been using for years the G600 (like 12 years?). Now that the switches are deads (wild double-clicks, or click sound but not catched), i was looking after another mouse . Even if the G600 was MY perfect mouse, i told myself "let's get a try to another". Then , i watched a lot of tests online and tested myself some mouses on shops. (Obviously, i compared a lot with that G600) Two mouses caught my attention : - Corsair scimitar : quite good but the side buttons are all flat. It's not a problem at all but the G600 had the buttons "formed for the thumb" and it was easier to find the right button to click. Sorry, my english is bad, but you get it, right? :). So there is a learning curve here to get used to it. For the size ? It's a bit smaller than the G600. I dont have big hands (medium i would say) but im used to the G600's size. So, this one is quite good, but for the flat buttons and the size, it's a no. I was a bit sad because i like the corsair quality. - Razer Naga Trinity : I asked in a shop to open a box a give me a try : Size : Alright, almost the same as the G600 ! Weight : Same :) side buttons, the 12 one : I can easily find the buttons. I didn't have to train myself at all to get used to it. So.. I bought it ! At home, it was hard to retrieve my native dpi but i found it :) And then is the drama : The FUCKING SCROLL WHEEL. I tested it on the shop but without interest ( some gross scrolls..) Scrolling forward was okay, but backward was harder. I mean, it was not the same force. It's a pain when you have to scroll one notch. Even multiple and slow, like on a web browser. I watched on the internet and i found tons of issues talking about that bad scroll wheel. For multiple days, i gave it a chance. But, when i had to code (i'm a player and developper as well), i surprised myself watching my mouse the moment after scrolling down just because my subconscience told me "wat?" "what's this?". Another example : without taking the mouse, i scrolled up : OK . Scrolled down with the same force : The scroll didn't move, the mouse did. Kek. And let's talk about the switchable sides : For the 12 buttons side : That first point is not a real problem, but i have to talk about it : If you have a mousepad that grips quite a bit more than usual, perhaps you'll get issues clicking these buttons when you move the mouse. I didn't have that problem with the G600. The buttons seems to be a bit softer on the razer. BUT, it's not a real problem. I give an example : You come to a friend's house and there is no mousepad for you. A Paper is way enough ;) , with the G600? Still competitive as i am with the mousepad. With the razer, that trouble. The g600's buttons are a bit harder without being too hard (i've never told myself about this). Now the other sides (6 buttons and 2 buttons): When you get used to a mouse that have 12 buttons on the side, you'll start to love having your thumb by default on a button. I would call it the bed's thumb. It's like your main button. MMO ? FPS? Same fight, that button is great. I tried the 6 buttons side. Yeah, okay, it's quite comfortable, but i can't play with that, i need my thumb on a button. The two buttons side? I just don't care. Even on a FPS. Really. So, in my opinion, the switchable sides are useless. Plus, there is no given "box" to store them. Even redragon gives a little box to store the weights. So, i sent it back to the store. More than 100 bucks for that mouse? For that quality? No way. Because i'm used to electronic stuff, i'll solder new buttons on my old mouse. AND, i'll give a try to a cheaper mmo mouse like the redragon. I'm not yet decided which one. One thing is certain, i'll never buy a razer item again. And i'll probably buy another G600 for safety (in europe, it's now less sold ), even if that model is "old" (4ms of more latency compared to the naga: 6 ms and 10ms, and an older laser captor but still a very good one) , it's still competitive. There was no difference between the G600 and the Razer about this (to prove it, i'm Quite good at COD and MGE at CSGO). And, i prefer laser (g600) than an optical(Naga) captor so perhaps it balances out ;). I'm thinking about sending a mail to logitech to ask for a newer model, just because THIS mouse is just the best one in my opinion, ( lot of people is thinking the same, just watch on youtube other comparings, or on the forums), and they could get a lot of sells. Note that i'm not really a Logitech fan, i like somes products but not all. I don't like their keyboards. This was just my opinion. I have a lot of interest/skills of computer hardware and i love to share my experience.

My favorite gaming setup is: ([` - 5] + [Tab - R] + [D, C & V]) ^ ([Shift] & [Ctrl]) = 36 Binds, all within the "WASD" area of the keyboard. Of course, in this setup, only [A] (Left Strafe), [S] (Right Strafe), with [Z] & [X] as back-peddle, are used for movement. [F] is reserved for targeting, where applicable. I'm also using a Naga (which I hate, thanks to Synapse3 being dogsh*t), which tends to have option-bar / consumable stuff bound to its keypad.

My favorite mouse to use has been the Naga hex /Naga trinity however, the trinity started double clicking with the left mouse button. I've always had a terrible issue with razer mice but they are often the only ones that, design wise, are perfect. The corsair scimitar has too many buttons for me I feel because when I had the normal Naga it overwhelmed me. The g600 seemed nice however I want a wireless mouse with good speeds like the 604 The hex goes well with XIV rotations for me but I've been thinking about going with the g604 if my trinity breaks. However, I've heard it rattles and it's pretty heavy too. I'm tired of going with razer knowing their durability sucks. That new viper mouse has been really tempting as well.

So I am giving Razer Naga Trinity a try. While it feels outstandingly comfortable there are 2 points where I am struggling with - the lack of dedicated button for hypershift (so this means I can't do multiple assigments to the 12 side buttons) and the 12 side button design (other mmo mice are sloped so you can distinguish which button is by the position of your thumb and the tactile feedback). This is making the mouse transition a lot difficult for me.

Double clicks issues is normal, its the keys wear. They are made for a number of clicks . You can clean them, there is a plenty of tutorials to do that. Or you can try to find the same switches used inside (its generic) and weld them. But it needs some skills. I "repaired" my beloved G600 like this ;-) .

I've been using the Logitech G600 for the past 6 years and I don't think I've ever had an issue with it. The only problem I have with it is it's very plain looking and doesn't have the modern pizazz the other ones have in terms of RGB but it get's the job done. I started with Razer Naga too, way back when I was playing WoW as well but I've had so much issues with Razer mice since then and have never purchased another one since, though I was super tempted since I wanted a pure wireless setup and the Epic Chroma was the only one out there but now it's nowhere to be seen. Gave the Corsair Scimitar PRO a chance for about 3 months but ultimately I felt the handling was off even though you're able to slide the key-pad up or down, it just never felt as responsive as the G600. The presses felt mushy and never really gave that satisfying click.

100% this was my issue with the scimitar, really felt unsure of what I was hitting, was having trouble clicking 1 no matter how I set it because my finger would scrape the mousepad. Because the buttons were mushy it ended up that my perfomance definitely dropped, in an intense fight I was constantly thinking about what I was hitting, I just couldn't build the muscle memory.

The G600 side buttons felt horrible to me after using a Naga for years. They were rubbery and spongy, and very hard for me to adjust to. Bit the bullet and ponied up the extra $60 for another Naga. Unfortunately, my wife tossed it during trash cleanup by mistake when I was on a break from PC gaming and it was in the garage with my old Logitech keyboard. I grabbed an m901 to replace it and it isn't bad thus far. I'll probably just stick with it as long as I can, as it is far closer to the Naga than it is to the G600

I went from the Corsair Scimitar Pro, to the Elite version. By far the best mice for me personally. I’ve tried a lot of mice, but there’s something about these that feel right in hand. The only way I’d change at this point is if there was something very similar but more comfortable. A lot of people dont like the ICUE program and say it’s too complicated, but it’s pretty straight forward imo and I actually prefer it. I’d only consider myself a “Corsair Fanboy” in the sense that I’ve only had good experiences with the products I’ve used by them. I’m sure there may be something better somewhere, I just havent found it yet, or I cant afford it to try it currently XD but yeah I use the Scimitar Elite with the K63 keyboard/lapboard with mouse pad currently. I was using other key boards, but this is actually the mot convenient for my lazy ass when I get home from work and wanna veg out. Still getting used to the keys though, tbh, these are new for me with how they feel, but that’s just something ill get used to. It usually happens every time I switch keyboards, do that’s nothing new.

I as a gamer, wow, cod, I have three mice. My setup left from my mouse was a Razer Nostromo, now replaced by a Razer Tartarus V2. In order I liked them. (all last me several years, swap between them regularly) 1. Razer Naga Pro (just bought one, previous wireless died after 4+ years, older technology, so an upgrade) 2. Razer Trinity 3. Corsair Scimitar (or a Logitech G600, I do not own one, just tested it from a friend, definitely a very good gaming mice) 4. Anything that is having 12 map-able buttons on the side. 5. the rest ... (well, if you are not a gamer, the other options serve you little to no purpose, get a better keyboard BEFORE you get an expensive mouse. Thank me later) 150€ for the number 1, IS expensive, since I game up to 12 hours a day, still, well worth it. If you don't want to be financially castrated ... the other two will do fine, they still go for 70/80€, so not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Me, I just like them less because they are wired. It is almost 2022 and you still prefer wired? Why? Out of juice? Connect the wire 30 mins WHILE gaming, then freedom from wires again. Besides, even gamers sleep, that is when the mouse is plugged in, you recharge, mouse recharges, tomorrow , both ready for action, just saying.

Everytime I ask and Razer comes into the subject it's like "Yeah it's a good mouse, but I have had to replace it 3 times" or "Yeah but.... this was wrng with it" or "that went wrong with it" I have never heard anyone just say "Yeah it's good" they seem to either break after a few months or even weeks!! Or they are faulty out of the box.... is there anyone who has just had a flat out good experience with a Razer mouse? I'm yet to meet someone who has. I bought the logitech G600 due to all the praise of people. The mouse buttons were way to sensitive for me. Also the modifier mouse button was annoying af. I would press it all the time when I wasted to press the first row of macro keys. Returned it after barely using it. I reallydon't wanna do this but I'm gonna buy the Razer Naga trinity. The sensor on my Razer Naga chroma has been acting up for years and locks the y-axis a lot so I can barely move up or down. The Trinity uses a pixart sensor so i don't think that mouse will do the same as this shitty mouse sensor. I don't like razer as a brand, delivering wacky performance for a price premium but i've been using their mice for years now and I'm so used to the feel and tbh the mouse clicks are just sensitive enough without being hairtriggers. And their macro keys feel nice.

@@DesperiusFFXIV you probably won't find Nyth anymore, Roccat sadly doesn't build it anymore. Titanwolf you presented is kind of cheap rebuild of Nyth. For me is Nyth the best one, I have mine since release date in 2015 and it's still fully functional without any ticks. Last time I bought a Razer mouse, it had cable connection issues, stuttering and mouse going all over the screen. Razer suggested me to reinstall the firmware then the mouse went dead and I refunded. Now I’m hearing you’ve had similar issues with different models so I can safely say Razer mice are trash or coinflip. They are overpriced and all the brand respect comes from the marketing strategies. I’ve used a Roccat, it was awesome but that particular model had chronical mouse wheel issue. My old Steelseries’ wheel died after it got crushed in my backpack (I guess) and my Logitech 402’s wheel button is dead after 2 years. I don’t know which brand to trust anymore, I guess I’ll try that Titanwolf. It’s crazy after all those years noone has come up with a durable product. All of them seem to have problems.
