Have to say, I love the black versions of the 990! The black/silver/white 990V6 still looks great after many wears compared to the gray ones I have, which pick up grass and other stains so easily. They’re also just as versatile as the gray… they go with anything.

The black 990 is very underrated! I wear my 990v3 in the black colorway quite a bit! They are indestructible and never have to clean them!

Good video. You have to move that Teddy navy/springtide colorway back into your rotation. That one is on my pickup list. Always have an eye out for those if the price is right.

The green/red pair matches so well with your black tshirt and red strap watch.

I found mine at a new balance outlet store. You could probably find one online somewhere

I bought a pair of 990v3 and those were my first pair of new balance that ive bought… only wore them once. Bought a pair of 991v2s tts and those ended up feeling a bit long. Wore those a lot more and i finally pulled the trigger on a pair of 991v2 stone island half size down and those ended up being perfect both fit and style wise. Love my stone island 991v2s. But yeah 990v3 in black color way are my least worn and first pair ever bought.

recent sub. enjoyed your review of the 991v2. just copped a pair. I did notice pretty obvious QC issues. I dont know if you experienced the same with your pair. but mine came with lots of long loose stitching threads, frayed stitching ends, loose stitching pattern, indentation/crease in the middle of the shoe. Did I just get unlucky or does the UK pairs just have worse QC than MISU pairs? awesome content as always.

Thanks for the sub! I personally never experienced any issues with either of my made in UK 991v2s. I think you just got very unlucky sadly. The made in UK have the same high quality standards as the made is US models. Maybe try reaching out to new balance and see if they can do anything about it

My top 5 least worn pairs are the 5 first NB shoes I've ever bought : my 5 pairs of 1500. My other NB are more comfy. I don't buy shoes that don't fit at all with my wardrobe so I bought cream V6, magenta V6 but not the yellow V6. Teddy brought me back to NB like you. His season 3 990V6 brought me back.

Those teddy 990v6 are very hard to pass up on. it's always essential to buy shoes that fit in the wardrobe!
