My golden rule is: don't stress yourself too much and be patient; you can be wrong, you are not a native speaker. I repeat it to myself all the time. But sometimes I struggle to follow it because I have a tendency to give in to perfectionism.

@@leonidaslendesmanirakiza489 I thank you for the trust you place in me, but I don't think I'm the right person for your purpose. Keep following EngVid lessons and I am convinced that with commitment and study you will be able to achieve significant improvements. Perhaps Adam's lessons are not the most suitable for you because they are generally specially designed for students at a more advanced level of language knowledge, but there are other professors, such as Emma or Rebecca for example, who upload lessons specifically aimed at beginners. In any case, if you need to practice the language or just want a clarification, search and add me on facebook or twitter and write me as well. I will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Thank you. Adam. I've improved my listening quite a lot after one month learning to your videos. You are a true master.
I liked how he addressed the internal fear as a starting point. Everything starts from a good mental state
That is my big problem in English. I am not confident, I always Judge myself. Thank you so much for this amazing support. Two years ago I tried to understand your videos, now I understand, I can speak English, but I always want to be perfect, that is my huge mistake
There's one person can judge you, this one is you. Very well said 👏
Thank you Adam, teaching english myself I was relieved in fiding out thay I already apply some of this princilples in reassuring my students. As a non-native speaker I sometimes find myself still making some mistakes and not living up to my standars ('bit too high sometimes), but I'm relieved that no matter what i will keep learning and making mistakes, but also improve and get better.
You are a great teacher! Thank you for your advices, Adam!
