Thanks for being a mentor from afar. Your tutorials have been a guiding force in my coding journey. Much appreciated!
I had Copilot enabled, but not Copilot Chat. I was wondering why it felt so limited compared to VSCode (where I had both enabled, but forgot about it).
Your Visual Studio Features video rocks! I like the nanoleaf elements
This is an useful video
nice work james ... keep going :)
VIsual Studio is great. However, it should be nice that you could do something like "git reset --hard" to discard all changes since last commit. In theory, you can do it with "Undo" but it does not work as expected. It seems 3 years with this issue and git is fully integrated with VS so seems pretty weird. I use TFS but sometimes at home I use git and feels bad in this regard. So, a nice feature should be fixing Undo...Am I wrong?

Never had any issues with Undo

Oh mine does it… if I hit ctrl-z twice after it has done a code suggestion it undoes my days work and wipes my history so I have no redo

I usually do it in console, can't put everything into UI without making it into a mess. I always use GHD for git stuff, since vs wasn't so nice previously and got used to pop into console for things.
Very useful video
How do you enable the ui refresh?

You can turn it on in the preview features: devblogs.microsoft.com/visualstudio/the-visual-studio-ui-refresh-preview-is-here

@@JamesMontemagno going to Tools > Manage Preview Features, I do not see the "Experimental Control Styles" option to enable.
Great video right up until you ended with VS Code, heresy!! 🤣

I would, but I don’t use Rider personally
"Top" feature of VS in 2023 is abandoning VS for macOS. "Thanks"!
