The sag is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of your suspension to check. Then set clickers to Stock Position and adjust from there. Does anybody agree?

Well the bikes handling characteristics all start from a base point And unfortunately that IS THE starting point for a bike setup Any PRO rider will tell you that But we can agree to disagree

Flying High yeah but om not a pro, I could ot tell you the difference between 10cm and 15cm on the rear sag, and 90 percent of the people in a blind test would not guess right the setting is changed. The truth is that yes in theory verry important but most of the people that talk about it wudnt be able to tell the difference, so I agree with you if you agree with me..

Good stuff Vegas, def check your valves, it’s been raced, bikes raced usually need more maintenance esp a high revving 4t, 70hrs is still allot on a race bike, measure twice cut once, better be safe than sorry. Couple tips, since you are so tall and using risers, move you risers to the forward position of the triple clamps this will give you more room on the bike bit more weight over the front being a taller guy and bike will handle better, rolling your bar forward to compensate also affects bike handling esp in corners, again I’m not a fan of that personally, you have them that’s what the holes are for. try that, you can also look into footpeg lowering options some drop lower and back a bit also helping taller riders. Also if you use a hook and loop tie down you don’t need rope on your bars or buy hook loops to mount on your lower triple clamp the strap is round the bar or triple clamp not the hook these type don’t slip either and much more secure, $30.00 straps for a 10k bike no brainer ( I know you only paid 4K) but new and use a fork brace for strapping down your bike, better for your fork while strapped down while travelling. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/1011/9521/Rider-Cargo-Motorcycle-Fork-Brace Again. no brainer still see many people do expensive suspension mods and use shit straps and don’t lol, after the fork in travel. Now get out they’re and ride it like ya stole it. Get some nac nac footage of you in the dunes 👻

Vegas RoManiac Jarvis got sick, he looked sick before it started, I don’t know what is wrong, I hope he is ok, Taddy B got food poisoning on day 2, prob some Yamaha fan dropped something into his drink lol! I meant to to watch be part of it, as for riding you don’t embarrass yourself no matter what level, it’s the spirit of Enduro, people have this idea of racing or events, some of its justified at MX or just go to a BMX event to see jumped up spoilt brats and MnDs at they’re worst, that said generally in Enduro or Trials events it’s a good comrade and you ride at your level people are generally helpful and supportive and respect all that challenge themselves, but hey it’s not for everyone, I’m older than you and it’s somewhere I’d like to go sometime maybe next year at least by 2020 is my goal, also the course is altered on the difficult stages from Gold to Silver to Bronze down to Iron which is lest skilled level, so you might ride with Jarvis at times, but you won’t be riding the exact hard parts of the course though still be very challenging. Anyways just wondered if you followed it watched it.🤪

How does the weight of the bike feel? When riding does it feel heavy and cluncky? Im also looking into a 14 250f but I dont know because I really enjoy doing hare scrambles and i dont know how a 250f would do with that. I liked the fx for the point of a electric start but I dont want the weight of the bike because im coming of a ttr 230 so its basically the same weight of the bike. I know the ktm 250xcf would be perfect(light and a trail bike for harescrambles) the problem is, there are like none for sale near me. Im like in a pickle

Bar risers are a very bad thing. It change the leverage you need on the bike for best efficiency. Pro enduro rider Chris Burch prevent riders of any size to use them. As you call yourself Vegas RoManiac, you can't ignore this spiritual law from a 7 times Romaniacs podium finisher... ;) (winner in 2010 also).
