This question will inevitably come up so i'll go ahead and answer it right off the bat. Yes i know ALOT of you here are educated on how to throw these combinations and you don't need a step by step guide on how to do it.... the controller cam is not for you. It's for the brand new player that happens to stumble upon this video. It'll come in handy for those guys, so bear with me on that. Jab cross lead hook and body kick is a good combo when your opponent try to sway back from the hook but gets caught with the body kick

It doesn't matter what combo martialmind will use, he can just use a hook to the head and still ko you lmao

I really love starting a lead hook followed by other combos then every now and then mixing in a lead uppercut instead of the hook. Makes players duck right into the uppercut and usually sleeps them.

Starting combos with a cross feels so good. The cross opening is so versatile, you can use it defensively or to chase down someone. I like to throw it after a body front kick to quickly eat up the space I just created and get a nice unexpected shot off and a lot of people won’t defend it.

One of my favorite combos is lead hook followed up by a cross and ending with another lead hook, I love this combo because you rarely see anyone throw it and it reminds of how Conor likes to start off with a uppercut.

Simple lead hook , uppercut always works for me. Best to do after you got their block low or head health low. If you get a good lead hook it places their head perfectly for an uppercut to rock them and most times they’ll duck after the lead hook which makes the uppercut even more effective

I was gonna ask the same thing I do something similar to this but instead of a hook I throw a jab and with the same hand u throw your jab with I throw an uppercut it's pretty useful not gonna ko but could stun pretty good and if they block your jab there gonna want to immediately counter by doin that leaves an opening for the uppercut

@@tristanclendenen4426 yes he means lead hook rear upper it’s a good and simple combo, what I try to do it after a rock I change shot I jab cross right left, also when you guys are getting close at the same time do a body kick that pushes them back and after they run back hit them with a front kick while walking towards them as well, always works

Clinch + Knee Knee + Elbows 4 Elbows in a row 3/4 hooks in a row 2 uppercuts in a row The game is everything but balanced, and it gets super annoying, I'm always stuck between divisions 6-11, and 7 out of 10 fights, I feel like I'm fighting the same person because they all use that and it's annoying as hell because even when I try to sway or exchange they always seem faster than me lol

@@claudiosampaio1311 those people are easy to get around. One tip: side kicks Just use a jab-sidekick combo to gain distance, or backdash and throw a cross when they start throwing elbows

lead hook - straight - any side kick with lyoto machida. So much fun. It's a string you can branch out or use in pieces in all sorts of different directions based on pretty much all of his strengths. It's weird that they organized the character like that because I don't remember him fighting like this, but still fun.

The cross-lead hook combo can be finished with some kicks, for example a lead heel kick, or a back leg spinning heel kick

The second combo I have legit Been using for much time in real life mma. Very effective

If you do it quick enough you can throw a left hook to the body then instantly throw a right kick to the body

Jab + Hook same hand, cross > uppercut or hook I love throwing this combo with only southpaw stance

I agree. I hitter with the unblockable body knees on the cage then rock them and immediately hittem with 2 of those in a row and kill the game.

Simple but effective one I like: from orthodox.... lead leg kick, overhand right

This has to be the "smartest" sports game of all time. My personal Favorite combat game, and by far the most satisfying to play. When you win you want to win better and more, when you lose you instantly want to redeem yourself. Risk's are actually risky, and strategy is paramount when going up against anyone who knows what they are doing, but when your fighting a bum, you can let lose and KO, MUCH like real life. Bravo EA, and Martial Mind, thanks for everything you do man.

I use that 2nd combo the old Bobby knuckles special

I use jab lead uppercut alot. It's very quick and people don't expect it.

Just spam combos #5 and 6 and 4 and 5 with constant pressure like everyone else.. you get taxed just as much for moving your head as you do punches so might as well just spam it plus you can’t throw while doing a major sway, when they guess wrong between the hook or uppercut they get damaged big.

One basic question, is it possibly to get one solid one punch/1 second knock out in this game? Like without having to beat them up/break them down first? Like right when the bell rings take them with 1 jab or one big right hand? I've tried and tried and tried and haven't accomplished it yet. and haven't even had it happen to me yet. Like just on regular matches not stand and bang nor knock out mode

Next time you use Jon Jones try feinting Lead body hook into the 6 to 12 Elbow > Spinning Elbow. Its such a beautiful looking combo works well if you condition your opponent to blocking low!

When I go for body shots I keep going for takedown when I'm not supposed to. Anything to help? Cause I'm trying to move forward to give the body shot but by using the left analog to move forward I then go for a takedown anything to do to change that?
