I have been doing a lot of thinking and research on the differences between more barefoot style shoes and some of the super padded and comfy running specific shoes. I have tried both, but more so, I have been a long time wearer of barefoot style shoes, and much prefer them, but could not ignore the comfort and great benefits of the new age running shoes that provide a lot of padding and comfort.
The big question is, does the padding and comfort come at a price. A price of reducing our bodies (feet, ankles, legs more specifically) ability to be as strong and resilient in such situations due to the reliance on such comfort and padding. I hope I somewhat make sense in my conclusion in the video.. 🐼😁
