I got refused two times from Prague and Germany. i didn't lose hope and applied to turkey and Egypt. Went there and came to apply. a couple of months back, I applied for the UK and was granted a visa. So keep your hope high.

You are right. I paid 10k to a travel agent but when he shared the cover letter, itinerary and hotel bookings, I knew I wouldn't get the visa. Hence I "fired" him without thinking about those 10k & took the matter in my own hands. It took hell lot of efforts but I got France visa with "zero" travel history.

@@akshayaddy I think you need to write a solid cover letter that why unlike others you are not covering Thailand, Dubai etc. places and instead jumping directly to France. I created my own personlised itinerary based on my interests. I booked real refundable flights also. They want to know that you have enough money and you would come back to India.

There is just one mistake, which you mentioned at 4:20, having a "travel advisor". That is the biggest mistake people do. Hiring agents, consultants, advisors, whatever you call them. Most of them are unprofessional and have little knowledge about visa process. Always read the information about the visa yourself, plan yourself and apply yourself. You will never ever face any refusal. Travel history, bank balance are all irrelevant. These are all myths spread by agents. I know people who had never traveled abroad, had only 80 thousand bank balance and got Schengen visa. They are looking for genuine applications and genuine travelers. You don't need to pay for any hotels, flights, buses in advance. I never do that. I only use pay at property hotel and flight reservations. Going to agents is the biggest mistake people make.

2 days ago I got refusal from Japan. It's the same mistake I made. I wrote itinerary in the same pattern with one hotel for 9 days. Actually it wasn't asked on the website but when documents submitted then they asked to submit till 1:30pm. When I got refusal then I was sure it's becuase of travel activity plan.

Last month i got refusal from Germany just because of agent. Agar khud apply kia hota to visa 100% milta. Kyuki khud karne par har ek cheez ka pata hota h detail me. Kyuki ab sabhi interview le rahe h call par and asking each and every detail about your travel plan

I got schengen visa with 0 travel history To get a swiss visa 1. Pre Paid confirmed hotel bookings are required 2. Pre paid domestic travel bookings are required 3. You should have atleast euro 100/day /person in ur bank account for the last 3-6 months (they want to make sure you have surplus money to spend. 4. In your financials attach all your liquid assets eg shares, fds, mutual funds, bonds etc & Credit cards and any other source of cash. Strongly establish your reason to return by attaching : property ownership, marriage certificate, details of dependants, job letter etc. All these countries want your money and they judge spending capacity. Except for food and sightseeing that are expecting you to spend all the money before going there. Bonus tip : Attach a dooable day to day travel planned down to the minute , do a lot of research and treat it like an exam You could have applied from Germany the odds are better.

@@Sarb37 Ohh..I am sorry for that.. Actually i knew that there were some mistakes in my application but still was expecting a positive news. After 15-16 days, i got the courier of refusal whereas some of my colleagues got the refusal letter in 3-4 days..so it all depends on application to application. Did you call them asking the status of your application?

@@mukeshkunwar46 I have called VFS so many times between 20 Aug-05 Sep. They keep saying the passports are still in the embassy. They can’t even confirm if they have actually started the process yet. I sent an email to the embassy but got an automated reply that they don’t provide the status on the email anymore. I haven’t tried calling yet. I will search for numbers and try that too.

Sir Ji I will apply for schengen visa from France. I will visit Paris, Rome, Geneva 3 nights each. We are traveling in Family, me my daughter and my wife. We are showing a bank balance of 9 lakh. Our salary income is around 152000/- per month. We are doing plane ticket and visa through agent, rest will be done by us. But our agent said applying in the month of May is enough for June 1st week travel. Also he said to buy plane ticket and hotel booking in January. But I am afraid if they reject, then I will lose considerable amount of money. Please suggest what to do?!

Bro i also got refuse from switzerland.. I showed fund 8 lac.. Salarly 48400/00 INR.. Working in software company , ITR 6 Lac... Travell history 4 Countries, Iteariry was also great.. Reason of refuse.. You will not back to india.. Some time it is all about luck..
