Yeah I’ve noticed that a lot with him, whenever he plays a game he always misses very simple things that may not be game ending but I know can be very triggering for people like you and me

I like a different kind of ore build with archeologist because he usually gets two boosts per ore when they drop pearls. I also grab some class or oysters or whatever their called. He can get up to +500 faster than you might think.

watching him get the fish bowl and then immediately choose to take the -6 cueball instead of the goldfish was pain

As I said in a comment on reddit. I am assuming the single dev of the game is waiting unit the pc version does well enough before jumping through the hoops of making ports and updating ports.

This would be a great James Veitch reference, but it probably isn't... "Head of costumer care".

The King Midas route can be pretty good. There are are actually many things that can boost it. Like he mentioned, the one that allows all objects to be adjacent would be great. There is also one that would be fun to use if you were late in the game that destroys all coins during the turn and gives a certain amount per a coin. I'm also kind of surprised that I haven't seen him ever get the arrow holster. That makes it so the his arrows point two different directions each turn.

This run was the perfect set up for the new coin on a string item, yet it never showed up :(

The Midas run was great, though skipping the goldfish while having a fishtank hurt my soul.

I was on withdrawal syndrome so bad from DF's Luck be a Landlord videos I started binge watching other KZreadrs. I went crazy seeing a fresh upload.

That king Midas build was working fairly well, if only there was a bonus item to multiply coins in some way.

best setup I have found was running oysters that make pearls and get an archeologist. 3 - 5 oysters will make plenty of pearls, then just get ores and golems and mines and the arch will gain huge value. Eventually you will start to find golden arrows and wildcards or get a card shark and just get one color of suits. Eventually you will get items that want you to increase the value of items drop from ore. Do not take them as they cannot be eaten by the archeologist sapphires are the highest. With arch build you can take all shiny pebble and pearls. Then just build around that keep working him up and just keep growing him destory all symbols not related. I got my guy up to like 500 or so per a spin and when I had wildcards and card sharks some spins would hit thousands but it takes the right start to get it working.

archeologist & Mrs. Fruit is a really good build, especially after getting the compost heap because when the archeologist eats an ore and it's product, it'll make a seed which'll feed the fruit lady. just need to make sure not to get fertilizer, x-ray, or the undertaker as you'll eventually get too much stuff to remove from the reels.

lol I can't tell you how many games I've bought just watching 2 minutes of you playing it

For the arrows, if we assume all possibilities are equally likely, you have a 72% chance to have it point to _something_ so long as every space is filled and that something isn't another arrow.

I don't think DF knows how the fish bowl works... it's actually a pretty decent item. Basically a free pool ball if you pick a fish.

Small trick for one of those items DF, that fishtank eats all the goldfish and basically becomes a free pool ball every spin, so you can grab them anytime you see them.

Thanns to you and Northernlion I gpt the game and have had fun alot. Now just waiting for updates befpre I play more.

Whenever you get the fishtank and are offered a goldfish, you might as well take it since it's the same as a hustling capsule just without the -6

What is this game called

fish when you have the bowl is better than a pool ball :D discovered the power of the fish bowl recently!

The most successful run I've had was a three midas run that had triple coin value on top. Wish I'd had the rusty gear cause that would have gone even further.

There's an item that triples the value of coins. I was waiting for you to get that so your strat would really pop off, so I was surprised that you managed to beat the game without it. I suppose you got pretty lucky with some good flat coin-per-turn value items.

If you haven't tried it yet, go for a Sun + Flower build. When you max it out, you can get to the point of making 19 trillion per spin. Takes a lot of luck to get the suns you need, but once you get to a certain point it will safely sustain you all the way up to maxing out.

Dude the fish tank is like one pool ball thing you get from the hustling capsule per guppy you take but it doesn't cost money the guppy is even taken off the reels so it doesn't clutter them

I've been trying to get the oyster and the archaeologist in the same run because he will eat the pearls and gain 1 coin for each.

I think the best way to get a good run might be to min-max into a single symbol set.

I've been having good success lately with Oysters + Pearls + Diver or Archeologist Gastoff's Contract or General Gastoff + Cultists

hmmm... random idea for new... thing. "if an entire row is the same (stackable) symbol, stack them [destroy 4, make the remaining symbol worth 5x its current value]. (Note: stacked items can only be stacked with other stacked items of the same value and type. Ex: 5 stacks of 5 coins= 1 stack of 25 coins). Potential balancing nurfs: -symbol instead of item, only applies to rows that are adjacent? -classify what is and is not stackable: People? no (exception is cultist). Items that have a destroy clause (Ex: capsules, void, etc.)? no. -new "legendary" rarity above even "very rare"? -destroys itself after "X"? (x= use "y" times? x= "y" turns? -maintenance cost? (if symbol, like thief. if item, like a piggy bank with no payback.) -symbols can only be stacked "x" times? -symbols unstack after "X" uses? -Stack value -1 every spin (that they show up)?
