@@solaryard5351 he'll end up the 2nd highest point scorer of all time in test rugby, at the very least, possibly the highest. 100 caps at 31, more medals than you can shake a stick at. How is he not one of the greatest players of all time? He's not THE best, but he's certainly one of them.

@@hammerhiem75 to be one of the greatest, he would have to be up there with Carter, Wilkinson, Lynagh, Bennett & Fox as the greatest 10s of all time. He doesn’t have anyway near the skill level of any of them. Being very good at kicking and passing will make you a good player, but you need to have a lot more to make you a great player. Neil Jenkins was the first over 1000 points, but he wasn’t good at much else than kicking and so he is rarely spoken about as a great.

From an Irish fan - he's one of the best players I've ever seen and his attitude is fantastic. No bullshit, just honesty and hard work. Has the basics perfected, kicking, tackling, passing and has a desire to win that is leaps and bounds ahead of most others on the pitch. Hope he's the next lions captain.

@MAGNI Sure it works like that a little, but look, all my Grandparents are Irish, two from Kerry, two from Sligo, but I grew up in England, what I know is England, my home and heart are here, I'm English. So is he. Frankly my wider Irish family would laugh their heads off if I suddenly claimed I was in all ways Irish. I didn't grow up there, and beyond the odd visit I have no clue. Sometimes you have to put the claims away.

The last thing England needs is 'Owen Farrell's story' what England needs is to reduce his influence because it appears he has lost perspective. When the tide turns he's a walking yellow / red card and over compensates under pressure - causes charge downs and interceptions.
