David Vincent is one of the true gods of death metal. Such a genuine person. So much respect for him. The man is 58 years old, and still going strong. Looks at least 10 years younger. When Morbid Angel was without him, I stopped buying the records. It's not Morbid Angel without him. "We Will DOMINATE!!!" God, I love that tune. That is signature Dave. One of the best , and clearest voices in death metal. Not a cookie monster sucking the mic like a cock. The real deal.

I've heard all their albums. I don't hate the ones without David Vincent. They have their own value on their own. But you have to agree, without Trey, Pete, or Dave, it's just a different band using the MA name. The point of my original comment was how intelligent and down to earth David Vincent has always been. And his vocals are so clear and still brutal as hell for death metal. Steve is good, but he has a more generic , cloudy vocal style that is very different from Dave. It changed the sound of the band. But we all have our own likes and dislikes. But we're all in the club. We all love death metal. The heavier the better. Even when you get old, you will still go back and listen to your faves. Metal never dies, and it knows no age limit. @@butchered_deathmetal

Regardless of genre I've always thought that vocalists and especially the vocalist front person variety are hybrid of Street Preacher meets performance artist... conviction, a sense of drama, and ability to read a crowd and deliver all essential components of being a strong front person. I've not seen David Vincent performing at least two decades now, and not in person but I have huge memories burned into my brain of seeing Morbid Angel on the blessed are the sick tour and just bought a magnetizing powerful entity he came off as leaving them through the set that evening. Remarkable.

David was interviewed on a late-night Friday night UK rock show in the early 90s; a friend of mine who was into nothing heavier than Megadeth caught the interview. She was blown away by how intelligent and articulate he was. She had assumed death metal was mindless grunting (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. What's there to "look into"? It's Morbid Angel lol. They're not some new band or something. Only been around probably longer than you've been alive 😆
