MY STAY IN A UK MATERNITY WARD | VLOG | JESSOPS WING | Madalene H.

Ойын-сауық

I had a feeling my stay in the hospital after giving birth would be a lengthy one, so I figured I would bring you all along with me and show what a typical day in a maternity ward looked like for me.
I hope you are all staying safe and well. Till next time x

Beautiful video and congratulations!! Im currently getting my healthcare from Rotherham hospital for my pregnancy but im switching over to jessops, just waiting for my letter of confirmation! How was your stay and overall experience at jessops? At Rotherham its like a 6-8 bed postnatal ward 😩. so nervous to try a different hospital xxx

Thank you ♥️ I remember wanting to transfer from Jessops to Rotherham after a close friend of mine had an unpleasant experience. I think it all comes down to timing. I had a very positive experience & I think that was because they weren't busy at all with plenty of staff and beds available. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you that it will all go well Xx

aww you’re doing so well and look amazing. She’s so beautiful mashaAllah. Also how’s breastfeeding going now? i think it’s good to introduce a bottle earlier too as six weeks is recommended but i think it’s too late for most babies to get use to the bottle. How much did she weigh at birth? xxx

Thank you! Means a lot. 6 weeks in & breastfeeding is going so well, so much better than how it went with Casim. I’ve actually ditched the formula now because alhamdullilah I have a pretty decent milk supply unlike the first time. There’s so much out there that argues against combination feeding so early on however, it was the best thing I did. I decided to listen to my motherly instincts, and I’m so glad I did. She was tiny - 6 pounds. How are you & how’s pregnancy ? I hope you’re doing well X
