My Spinal Fusion Surgery Vlog!
Hi there! My name is Maggie and I had spinal fusion surgery this summer. Throughout the process, I documented it so I could have a way to look back on it and remind myself how far I have come. Although this is not my fondest memory ever, it is an important part of my journey.
I am posting this for two reasons!
1- I want to be able to look back on how far I have come and how much progress I have made.
2- I want to show others that you can overcome your obstacles. I felt the calling to share this with others to prove that you can get through it. I also wanted to show that you are not alone and that you never know what someone else is going through!
Thank you so much for watching a part of my journey and supporting me in recovery! Remember that you are not alone and to always reach out to someone if you need help.

Not sure why the algorithm recommended your video, but I hope you and all spinal fusion surgery patients get well soon!

Always cheering you on!! So proud 🤍
God is good - all the time! Your bravery to stay vulnerable and open to yourself and others on this part of your journey is your superpower... I love you deeply MEB!💚
Good luck on your journey.. I hope you have recovered fully. I have been in a lot of pain for 10 months since I got hurt at work and hope I get cleared to have my L5S1 fusion. I just want to have my life back. Thanks for sharing. People like to hear stories and how they went through it. Gods luck.

Well done Maggie I have had 4 spinal surgery's 2 on my neck with a cage done 2 times and 2 lower lumber surgery's it's not easy but was out off hospital in 2 days good luck to everyone who has to do this surgery you will get threw it .time is a healer all the best Karen x
i love this and you maggie b!
you are amazing!!
I know what that's like. I had spinal fusion in 2019 two weeks before my birthday. The recovery is not fun, but I got through it. I'm sure you got through it too.
Respect to you and your journey. I'm 6 weeks out 2 level artificial disc replacement in Germany, getting back to US after was not fun! You are very young for a fusion (sure you've heard that before) but you seem to have done really well. Was artificial disc an option in your case? All the best, thanks for sharing! 🙂
I just got mine January 20th for my scoliosis! Recovering one step at a time😅
Love u Maggie❤
What were your fusions done for ? And how many were done ? And thank you for documenting your ordeal. Like you, I thought the Maggie B penguin painting was cool.
Hi Maggie I'm glad you're surgery went well ,you are getting around very well question did you use a walker to get around? I get my surgery in two weeks and I hope mine goes great to.✌🏿✌🏿
Thanks Maggie b
how long did you have to use a walker? did you have to wear a brace post op?
U have such a sweet family
hey i’m two weeks post op and i’m still having so much pain I can barley sit for longer than 20 mins for u how long did it take to start feeling more normal and less pain

I hope that your surgery went well and you are on the way to healing your spine ! I had spinal surgery twice - the first time I had lumbar spinal surgery and I have rods and screws in my lumbar spine and the second surgery that I had on my spine was cervical spine surgery and I have plates and screws in my cervical spine now . Both surgeries were to fuse my spine and they have helped me a good bit . I DO still have some pain from them , but overall I think that I am doing better now than I was before the surgery . All that I can tell you is to do what your doctors tell you to do as well as your physical therapists . THEY ARE THE ONES WITH THE EXPERIENCE AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO GET YOU WELL !!!!! SO PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO THEM AND DO WHAT THEY SAY TO DO AND YOU'LL BE JUST FINE IN A LITTLE WHILE !!!!! IT MAY TAKE A FEW MONTHS OR EVEN UP TO A YEAR TO GET TOTALLY WELL , SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR DOCTOR AND YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPISTS !!!!! YOU'LL BE GLAD THAT YOU DID !!!!!!
what is the arm thing shes wearing called?
