That was very thoughtful of Bryant to cook for Mother’s Day. The food looked wonderful! Our daughters and their families came over to celebrate on Saturday and we had fun together. They ordered pizza, and the grandchildren had a ball playing with each other. Of course, my husband and I were missing our mothers. His went to heaven in 2018, and mine in 2013. Some tears were shed, but the fond memories prevailed. Our younger daughter started a new tradition. We all told the date and time of our children’s birth and our own birth. That was special…❤️

I lost my Momma who was my best friend almost 10 years ago, the same time I lost my mobility. I do have kids and though neither said anything to me yesterday, that's okay. Times are far different than when I was younger. Thanks for showing your family dinner, the food looked great and I enjoyed you sharing all the day brought!

Leslie; what a lovely message at the end of this video, Thank You. I lost my Mother in 1998 and she was my best friend, I miss and think of her every day. I have one daughter and due to so many different reasons we are estranged and she does not speak to me or allow me to see my grandchildren as they grew up, she lives in the same city, this is soooooo difficult and I feel like I have failed however she is an adult and makes her own choices now. I had a very quiet Mother's Day. My Mom went to Heaven in 1994. She would have been 100 this July. My only sister went to Heaven Jan. 2,2022 my only child, my daughter went to Heaven Nov 2,2022. She has 5 adult kids and 5 grandkids. But God has given me total peace and I wasn't sad yesterday. I was here for my son in law and grandkids. They, of course, were very sad. The 9 year old granddaughter was being raised by them as well as their very autistic almost 5 year old only grandson He doesn't really realize anything, the girl does but Papa kept her occupied.. Their other 4 grandkids are girls 3, 2, and 3 months. They live with their mom and father. I'm glad you guys had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mine was fine

I don't have children. I do have a cat that calls me "Maw."❤ I was a first and second grade teacher for 20 years, and then a school librarian for 13 years. I would like to think I've helped my students and been there for them, even more so than some of their parents. I enjoyed being a teacher so much! I'm glad I had the time and inclination to focus on my career. In this day and age, if I had children I wouldn't let them out of my sight. I know I'm overprotective (as my cat would say). I'm glad Mother's Day was wonderful for you and your family. It is one of my favorite holidays. I had a wonderful mother who passed in 2011. I still celebrate her, my sisters, and friends. It's a great holiday to honor the special women (past and present) in your life. After all, we are who we are because of them.

Leslie girl that man of yours hooked you up.....what a feast! The flowers were beautiful, you'll love those Vans...you can't beat a pineapple plant and certainly can't beat a hobby lobby gift card. How nice. Weeds are a part of life...unfortunately...lol. If my garden grew nearly as well as my grass and weeds I'd have a bumper crop every year...lol. Ironically my grass in the yard doesn't grow nearly as good as the grass in my veggie garden...lol. Looks like you had a great Mother's Day...I'm so glad....you deserved to. I had a nice one too....my children got me rose bushes and plants....I had to dig another flowerbed to accommodate them but that is okay. I lost my mom in 2009....it was rough....I felt like an orphan for quite some time....but, I still had my children so I had to push on. I miss her but knowing I'll see her again one day certainly does help. Hope everyone on here had a nice Mother's Day. Love and Blessings.

I lost my mother on Dec. 15. We had her memorial service on Saturday, May 13, in honour of Mother;s Day. On Sunday, my daughter gifted me with the announcement of her pregnancy. She and her husband have been on a journey to conceive for about 8 months. JThe circle of life your hibachi looked delicious!

Thank you for your video. I just celebrated my Mother’s 98th birthday and now Mother’s Day. I’m so grateful to have her in my life. I do/did have children. So it’s bittersweet. My daughter always makes me feel special no just on Mother’s Day but other days too. I am truly blessed to still have her in my life.

Thank you for your comments at the end. I don’t have children and I lost my mother 4 years ago. I used to feel like I didn’t contribute anything to this world because I didn’t reproduce. Then at some point, I realized God’s plan didn’t have that in my world and not everyone is to be married and not everyone is to have children. I don’t know why I was chosen as one of these people, but I do know my life has many blessings without “ that one”. Thank you for thinking of us as well!!♥️

What a great Mother’s Day! The food looked delicious! My 18 year old grandson wanted to take myself and his mom out to eat for Mother’s Day. He’s still in school and works a part time job. I did convince him to let me help pay for some of it. I love that he’s so thoughtful like that. It was a sweet day.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day My Two children treating me to a takeout meal and I am thoroughly blessed I was told I would never have children after my Crohn's disease two years in a row after that with my children I will never take that for granted my mother passed two years ago in September and it's a little hard for me I haven't found the joy in it yet but I'm in still in God's hands so just send up a prayer and God bless your family this Mother's Day

Its Mothers day!!! Not “People who influence people Day.” Strong women dont feel left out for Mothers Day. Mothers day is for the real moms who are raising human beings. If there are women out there who are emotional about not being a mom, they will get through it and face their reality. They could be looking at options to be a mother through adoption, as there are so many states now that are going to be having more babies born, perhaps… I guess I’m having a hard time with continuing to hear messages to people who aren’t what they want to be, but telling them that they could call themselves basically the same thing…And redefining things. There are certain women out there that can never be a mom and it’s really sad for them. Absolutely. I don’t think Mother’s Day should really be the day to be recognizing women who can’t have kids. It should be encouraging women who don’t have kids to celebrate their mom, or maybe just go to the beach or some thing. Pray about it and just deal with it. Mother’s Day needs to remain special. YOU are the most incredible mom, grandmother, and example for a lot of people about the importance of that role. Love you!

I had a different Mother’s Day this year. My precious mom passed away 3 weeks ago from dementia/Alzheimer’s. I know that she went home to be with Jesus but my heart is just broken from missing her. My children and grandchildren came so that was wonderful. Your food looked so good….
