Hi its haydens mum thought id let you know hayden is well he is in remission and currently playing for a local footie team with his twin dylan where he was a goalie for a while and now plays midfield and even though hes still a lot smaller he isnt afraid of tackling or going up against anyone.. he has regular 3 monthly checks scans and xrays and certainly keeps us on our toes him and his brothers and sister all do thanks for all your words of support it really did help at the worst time any parent could go through and the players and staff at city were all lovely.we were actually the first to be filmed for the series so it was new to everyone then so everyone was testing their ground it was an amazing experience that all of us will have brill memories of forever thanks x

hayden is doing really well he is now 3 years and 3 months cancer free he has overcome everything ..... he loves doing his hair and is a little stunner has lots of girls chasing him and plsys still for his team Medlock Rangers he will actually be going into his last yr of primary in sept then going to high school he is an amazing football player and played in defence after coming out of goal during a match it was discovered he was brill he has just won parents player of the year after going back in goal and even being smaler than average l is an amazing keeper and his twin dylan won managers player last yr and players player this yr tthey are both really good players thank you for all your lovely comments i just ignore the not so lovely ones he had an amazing day at mcfc and will never forget his day there meeting everyone he says he feels lucky to have been able to do that ..hes just getting over a fractured thumb after his dylan hammered ball into net and hayden saved it . typical rough and tumble 10 yr old not afraid of anyone or anything love joanne haydens mum xx

Liverpool fan here in 2019, Man City are our rivals at the top of the league, but this is so heartwarming, it gives you a big knot in your throat. How can 185 cruel, sad fookers dislike this!?

This series is fantastic. Great to see these footballers and sportspeople giving away their time to do this. Defies the perception of footballers being stuck up and not interested in anything but themselves. :)

watching vids like this brings a tear to ya eye thinking how lucky people like us are and people like Hayden deserve to have these good memories rather than the bad hospital memories

This is such an amazing example of why Joe Hart is my favorite footballer of all time...he's so generous and kind to his fans and everyone else, not only did he do this for Hayden, but he also sent two autographs made out to me and a letter after I sent him a letter telling him how much of a fan I am of his and what a great role model he is to me so much #RESPECT

What a great video, made the young lad's year I'm sure. Footballers get a bad rep but it's reassuring to know that the majority of them are genuine, decent human beings. I'm not a City fan that was genuinely heartwarming to watch.

Incredibly, every professional should cut off a slice, so much heart. The most beautiful thing in life is to make the eyes of the children shine. I am a Bayern Munich fan with love and soul, I am 36 years old and have two children myself. This behaviour touches me very much thank you for these people.

watched this with an absolutely huge smile on my face, amazing!

Why would anyone dislike this? Even if you dislike MC this little boy has been through hell! I lost a young niece after a 9 month brutal battle with cancer. These children and their families are warriors. Club loyalties shouldn't factor into this little boys dream coming true.
