The anime series feels a bit rushed. They really could've developed the characters a bit more.

Iwasawa disappears: *light crying* Yui disappears: *a little more crying*' That worker guy disappears and i can't remember his name it was like Chav or something: ...NOOO Almost everyone is gone: *crying* Naoi disappears: *screams out of sadness* Yurippe disappears: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Hinata disappears: *breaks things* Kanade disppears: *sobbing/screaming/breaking things/stabbing the wall out of anger/sadness*

I didn't cry a single time in this anime. I was actualy, happy. The people was finding the way to forget about their sadness and pass to the other side with a smile. I felt happy for them. It touched my heart when Hinata proposed to Yui and then she passed, but, after all, I was happy for her. Hinata was also happy to see her going to the other side. It hurt me when Kanade disapeared in Otonashi's arms, but then I saw their reincarnation and I said with a smile: "Perfect ending". Wherever they are, they're smiling. That's why I'm happy.

Yui was such a cute character, even though she might come off as annoying at times. She's full of passion, funny and silly. She and Hinata do hit off well, and she always tried to get his attention in the beginning. We'll miss you, Yui-chan :')

Honestly Angel Beats! reminded me that I was human. I was a rock, zero fucks given, and then suddenly here comes this anime and I crumble. I cried for a half-an-hour straight. Haven't fiund anything that brings back those feels since, but this sobg always causes a lone tear to fall.

I actually really hated Yui when I first saw her. I hate the "cutesy loud high-pitched clumsy" comedy relief character. Now I like her a lot. Man, that episode... Glad Angel Beats managed to swap my opinion on her.

I mean.. that was the point obviously... but they way they did it just... was great. This anime hits on all the best points and plotpoints perfectly. I knew from episode 1 during the intro song that I'd love this anime. The intro was just that good.

That was the exact same thing that happened to me. I absolutely hated her character, thinking her personality was fairly annoying (but bearable) but her voice was normally unbearably annoying. Towards the end of her character though, I fell in love with her. It takes a skilled writer to do that.

この間Angel Beats!を見ろって言われてたまたま見て、この歌声好きだな〜って思ったらまさかのLiSA、、、 無意識にLiSAの声を好んでた私、、😭

うまく表現できないけど、サビに突入する時のギターの音が変わる感じが好きすぎる

最初にLiSAさんを知ったのはsaoだったけどまた違った感じがあってすごい良い！

Watching Yui and Hinata disappear made me cry.. Then when Otonashi tried to change his mind last second after he persuaded everyone to pass on pissed me off.. So I have mixed feelings about the ending. No doubt a good anime though.

Christian Erazo That's not entirely true. He felt that his past was justified and did not feel like rebelling over having his life taken from him. But he felt that the reason he ended up there was to help the others get through the same thing everybody had to go through. As you can clearly see, nobody accepts it so he felt like he had an obligation to help the others.

(SPOILER) Honestly, the part that made me cry most was when he regained his memories, the second time when he was a hero and saved the victims of the train crash, while placing the others' safety before his, and dying in the process. He even signed a card that promised that even if he died, his body would be used to give another hope. Then the light opened up and they would be freed, but yet he died when they would be finally freed. * tears overflow.

When I first saw Angel Beats and saw episode 4 and at the beginning Yui was about to play the guitar, I honestly expected her to play incredibly poorly and then the original OP came in. I never expected this. Angel Beats was so amazing, funny and heartbreaking to watch, and that's what I really appreciate about this anime.

+Aron Moran Well i can't listen to the song with out crying..... The ending hit me right in the heart and i cried in 3ish hours after.... Super sad ending

***** i mean how they legit died, as in one guy gets in a train wreck, one got hit by a car while he was drugged out, one had a heart condition, etc. not how they move on from the afterlife

bartsimpsonsprank Will probably be explained in the visual novel. First volume release date May 29th. Probably gonna be a while before a translation though.
