This affected me...why? Because, I have a younger sister and we have lost our mother. Our father is in prison, our mom died three years ago. I'm 28 years old and was 25 when it happened. The first two years, I didn't know how to handle it. Selflishly I kept thinking how I was still young, didn't want kids and I should have been out, enjoying myself. We fought all the time, argued constantly, didn't get along at all. I did it cause I promised my mother, I wouldn't let that kid end up in the system...they have good intentions but they never do what's right. She's safer with me, even if we're always fighting. Three years later and things are actually starting to look up. We get along better, we're more open with each other...I never saw it coming. I gotta say, I really enjoyed this film. It hit close to home...I liked it.
