Going Through My Sketchbook - Easy Things to Draw
As in a sketchbook, we draw something we want to. So a sketchbook of someone has always characterized the person like them most. For example, if a person is fond of animals sketch so his book will be full of those animals’ sketches.
Same as we will draw some character of a different category to develop a better understanding of which kind of sketch should be ours as follow:
Let’s draw shadow elves as follow: This tutorial step starts with drawing out the guidelines and body circles for the shadow elves. Start by drawing a perfect circle for the head, and two smaller circles one for the shoulder, and one for the breast.
After you draw those shapes out lightly sketch the guidelines across her face and sketch out the lips, nose, and ears. Line out the lining of her slim body starting right on the side of her face all the way to the side of her shoulder. In this step what you will be drawing is her hair lining that is long and flowing over her shoulders.
Sketch in her eyebrows and lining for the shape of her eyes. Detail her pointy ears and nose as well. Finish off this step by drawing the rest of her arms on both sides. Make sure you detail her face exactly the way it is shown above.
Now, this step is very detail oriented. What you have to do is a sketch in all of that beautiful looking hair that flows right over her shoulders hiding her beautiful naked body. After you accomplish this task which takes at least 5-10 minutes depending on how skilled you are, sketch in her long eyelashes and eyeballs with the pupils.
After this is done it is time to erase all the guidelines and circles from your sketch. And this is what your shadow elves girl should look like when you are done. The good thing about this last step is you can color her any color you want to.
You can make her regular looking elves or a different race. That is totally up to you.
In this another method lets discuss how to draw a garden as follow: First, draw the background lining which is the squared off shrubs that make up the shape of the maze your garden is in. Next, add a circle from the tree top, and then draw the guidelines for the trunk, walking path, and flowers.
Now you will start sketching out the shape of the tree, the straight-lined trees in the background, and the bushes below the tree as you see here. Next, add a few tulips or other flowers of your choice to add beauty. The entrance to the garden needs to be drawn out next.
This can be done by drawing a square entryway that is cut through the high bush in the background. Next sketch out more of the shrubs that line the walkway, and then draw the trail cement markings that are called dividers.
I chose to draw two tulips as the main flower for this scene, but you can draw your favorite flower instead if you wish. Sketch out the tree trunk and all the branches that flow inside of the treetop foliage. Next draw flowers in front of your bushes to add color, and variety to your beautiful garden.
For your last drawing step all you have to do is spruce up the grass or lawn and add some dandelions too. When that is taken care of you can then finish off your treetop design, and then draw your water fountain. I drew a bird fountain, but you can go crazy and draw one that is huge enough to make wishes in.
Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then see what your landscaped garden should look like. Now that you're done, this tutorial that taught you "how to draw a garden, step by step", should look like the one you see here. Of course yours may look a bit different if you added your personal touches, but all in all the garden came out gorgeous didn't it?
Great job! There you go you draw two different categories of sketches to make your own sketchbook. Now you are ready to draw your own sketchbook by making the same kind of sketches.

I usually get courage to draw, but once im about to draw something i dont have courage anymore, so i sit there... sad

That's perfectly fine! Just draw stickmen for an hour! If you want to draw, just do it, you'll get better with time. Heres a quote for ya: I want to draw, so I'm going to do it, it doesn't need to be good, it just needs to be!

Dude, i appreciate your work, it looks great, most amateur artists would wish to be able to draw like you. What i hate about your video though, is your exaggerated self-criticism, tone it down a little, and believe a little more in yourself -_- Keep it up

That does not look kind of easy to draw but I can try drawing in my imagination but sometimes it comes out good sometimes it doesn't, but by the way your an amazing artist this video show me how you really put your imagination in a sketchbook. I would like to be more like you in being an incredible artist and that's what I am doing right now. :)

Its funny, throught his whole video you were saying "I think this was terrible" or "I hated this idea" Of course not everything you talked about you said was bad but, everything that you said was bad I said "that is was great! Why would he say that?" But, then people see my sketchbook and they say "Oh my goodness you can draw" And I see the thing that they're looking at and I just think.. I think that's awful. Haha I notice a lot of artists do that.

You can watch a sycra yasin video about that, it's the one about breaking through artist's block. He explains that there is a "hand" skill and an "eye" skill, and as you're drawing skill goes up, you also get better at seing flaws in you're drawings that younger or less experimented artists might not see.

+TheSugarKitty 1 I think it's because we pit ourselves with the artists we admire and try to emulate. Others who don't draw or aren't as exposed to this process compare themselves with us, thus they think we can draw really well. Nonetheless, I still know I have a long way to go :)

TheSugarKitty 1 Art is for appreciation, and since majority of people appreciate our art and find it great, I think we have nothing to be sad about, it's a skill, it'll improve over time :)

i would recommend drawing house hold items for a while, as crazy as that sounds. get used to hitting those straight edges.
