My Sister’s EPIC 40th Birthday Battling Marlin in Cabo San Lucas

For my sister Michelle’s 40th birthday, we travelled to Cabo San Lucas Mexico to battle striped Marlin aboard The Pantera. We also take our catch of the day into our favorite restaurant in the marina, La Chatita’s and have it prepared. Then close out the trip with some surf fishing with Jansen Lures behind our hotel and some horse back riding on the beach.

I grew up fishing the gulf of California with my dad!! We got a 250lb black marlin in about 650 ft trolling sardines back in 2014.. one of my favorite catches ever.. caught tons of bonita, stingray, skates, grouper and rockfish down there as well but if you really want a fun time stay inshore and troll big stick baits for rooster fish and trevali.. 😅🎣🐟

That’s awesome! And if you want to step that up. Try catching a 70 lb Rooster from the beach.. My all time pound for pound champ!! Regardless, always a good time in Cabo 🤟
