Hey Nenaa! The reason why some icons have different colors/shapes is because they're actually separated into 4 groups, the first 5 are beats, then effects, melodies and voices, also some sounds have two loops and if you wait a little then they might do something different, Alpha, Brazil and Alive are the only versions that do not have sounds that have two loops, I would recommend you try to check two versions at a time in order, also there are mods on this game (sorry if my english is bad) :3 Edit: You can pause them by clicking on them and you can unpause them by clicking on them again you can also solo them by holding on them and I would recommend you check out each sound at a time and see what they sound like together in their group, I would also recommend you try to make a mix of your own by hitting the record button, if you don't know what techniques you should use I will tell you some. 1 you should use some bass in your mixes (basses are usually effects) 2 you should make some beat drops (use sounds that are made for beat drops or use sounds that end early) 3 always start the mix slowly by using one or two sounds 4 always change the sounds so that it isn't boring. That's all I wanna say :3 Edit 2: I forgot to say this but here's how to tell the difference between the first loop and the second loop: if the ring around the circle is light gray and is turning dark grey then it's the first loop however if it's the opposite and if the ring around the circle is dark grey and is turning light gray then it's the second loop but if you use dark mode it's the complete opposite and well...you get the point. If I were to have a nickel for every time someone makes a “My Singing Men” joke when they played Incredibox for the first time, right after playing My Singing Monsters, I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. References aside, as you saw in V4, The Love, the icons are color coded to organize the instrumental groups: beats, effects, melodies, and voices! (The color code part doesn’t apply to Alpha, Little Miss, Dystopia, and Wekiddy, but they’re still organized the same way!) Also as you just saw in said version, some of them has two loopings, which has some of the Polos sing differently on the 2nd loop!

SHE FINALLY PLAYED IT, tip: each five symbols is a different beat or effect First five are beats Second five are effects Third five are Melodys And forth five are voices

Hey Nenaa just a tip for you when you are trying to get the bonuses (the music clips) you can actually see which icons you need. You were looking at the people already on that we’re in the bonus but if you just looked down a bit you would see the icons you will need. Hope this helps and I hope you have a good time playing this game

Honestly these song is a VIBE cuz the music always made me dance

instead of randomly selecting sounds for the bonuses, click on the bonus and then all the icons you need will be highlighted on the bottom and also the Wekiddy version (or V9) just dropped a few days ago so i hope you will play it

Nenna i got some tricks to start mixing a little better. You can cancel the caracters holding the left button of your mouse and move it down, if you hold the left button of your mouse you can hear the character that you are holding the button, you can turn off the character that you want too turn of using the left button of your mouse, if you want too know what character to use for made the cutscene you can click on the icon of the cutscene and look at the selection of sounds on the down side of the screen, aaaaand for the last one, the sounds are divided in four types, first it's the beats, second it's the effects, three it's the melody and the four type it's the voices.
