First thing i would say is; don't get discouraged just because you can "only" invest like $100 per month. It can compound to tremendous wealth over the course of decades. The important thing is that you keep going!

Compounding effect is the best. it took me 8 years to grow my retirement fund from $0 to $100k, yet only 4 years from $100k to $200k.

I sincerely believe people often underestimate financial advisors' importance too. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.

@@ccora_faith Ah yes because shifting a physical learning and communal business online isn't going to decrease revenue at all. Not to mention those people need to now buy their own supplies and in return receive a worse service and they would probably be paying more. You then also have your physical location which is basically just draining profits every month not being utilized.
@Betweoxwitegan

@@lastazakana Yeah I agree, however when there were more stringent restrictions on businesses and the movement of people revenue would've likely diminished, if you survive that then you can bounce back after because there will be a higher demand.
She has so much humility and is passionate about giving people a creative outlet, not just “owning a business.” She deserves all the success and wishing her a life of happiness!!
This was a great story! It was inspiring and gave a realistic look at owning a business. Not every business is going to be some insane tech company only worried about increasing revenue to unrealistic heights every year. Thanks for sharing!

This is great but the $25k a month is very misleading - she's made $147k over 12 months so $12k per month. Describing a business's income by its top month is poor practice

I think watching this was so helpful! Communities are what we lack in a lot of places. And as a person who only found a small community in my early 30's... like... it was very difficult navigating life without having a group to lean on for brainrots, ideas, guidance, or even good silly fun. I hope places like these continue to thrive!
This is the Law of Atraction in action! Way to go, girl!
So 25k...net 16000....64% profit margins....Gross 300k Profit 192k Expenses...72k expenses...personal wages...66k a year
I am so happy for Liz. This story makes me belive in good again amidst this job crisis.
This was an emotional, wonderful and amazing one. Her personality, optimism, can do, and flexible spirit is great. It is always amazing when someone can do what they love, be compensated for it and make a living. Wishing her the best.

We need to get the federal government out of loaning money. Schools know there's unlimited money to lend so they keep raising tuition. Private banks would only lend money for worthwhile degrees and for what people could reasonably pay back.

How about don’t go into student debt in the first place? Why is this a hard concept for people? You just as easily could have gotten a 100,000 dollar small business loan instead of a liberal arts degree. Stop blaming the country for your bad decisions.

25k/month in title but actually pays herself 5.5k/month. 16k profit at 01:52 but that doesn't even include payment to artists and taxes like wtf. CNBC misleading as always.

Maybe the most important part of the video: "Student loan debt is a common barrier to entrepreneurship, but the cash infusion gave Liz a jumpstart" And now everyone is better off for her having started the business. Do we want things like this to be barriers??
How’d she get the original $50k? Did she say by accident? If so, what’s that mean? Did family help her? Or did she say she was in an accident (insurance money). Not hating at all but these details really help me personally when seeing these kind of stories.
