    I've been shaving for about 7-8yrs now, I have thick course hair, I use the yellow bottle HeadSlick and generic brand members mark duraglide 6 blade razors. I've used several other brand name blades and I've felt that they tug the hair rather than cutting it smoothly. No razor bumbs or irritation with these two products.

    Use Nivea for men aftershave and vitamin e oil when I finish. Problem I have though is red marks/razor rash. Having problem with making sure I'm shaving in direction hair grows.

    Have you tried King Of Shave's shave gel??? At least virtually no foam so you can see what you're doing. I got the Alpha Blue and I won't use anything else. A little goes a long way to and it's priced very well.

    Today I did NOT go against the grain, for the first time.. cuz I notice I been getting bumps, but I don’t think they are considered razor bumps or... cuz they don’t itch & not red... they show up on day 2 after shaving head against grain... like when hair starts growing back out from the head. Today (5 days since last shave), I went with the grain & across grain on back of head... gonna see if these mystery bumps return. Thx for the vids

    I started using the secret shave oil and the Cremo mango shave cream. I've been getting a smoother shave finally. I use to use that edge shaving gel, and it messed me up.

    going to start shaving my head in support of my wife having cancer. What are the items I will need to keep my head shaved (blades, soaps or lather from a can, moisturizer and oils)? How often should I shave it?

    I was shaving my head a while back. Even with blonde hair I still had a noticeable old man looking dark horseshoe shadow around my head. I hate that look because I am only 23, because of this I have since grown some hair on the top. I don't know if its the razor I was using or what?

    Hey Bro. 'Preciate the tips. Been trying to get rid of ingrown hairs in my scalp (especially at the neck area). In fact, they have caused scars. Tried all kind of methods - including yours, like using a safety razor, a straight razor, using clippers, using a trimmer, shaving with the grain, shaving against the grain, and using different products, like Bump Stopper, Bevel, etc. Nothing seems to work. Thinking about letting it grown out for a while, and maybe seeing a dermatologist. Thoughts?

  • @NateMatthews

    @NateMatthews

    I still use it, just not all the time. There's plenty of ppl who shave daily but I don't. It's not necessary & may cause irritation from shaving skin instead of the hair

    I shave daily since my hair grows back fast. I don’t like seeing the receding hairline shadow. As long as you’re using tend skin or witch hazel afterwards you’ll be fine. Use moisturizer afterwards
