The way it went over to it, you'd think that it's true! They are very curious and they do believe everything is theirs! It's probably checking out the size of the box to make sure it'll fit when empty of its contents. There's not a cat alive who doesn't love an empty box! 😂

I would've been "caught on camera" sitting on the porch, petting and spoiling the beautiful furbaby. 🤗🐈

I feel sorry for delivery drivers, years ago I had one drop off a package and about 15minutes later he came back and said he forgot one. Handed me my white def cat, and then had one yelling for help, my dad's German Shepard dog ( he was very friendly) got right up in the truck and set like let's go.

Cat was just looking for a pat on the head but got some quality amusement instead.

That was nice and clean backup into the middle of the driveway . He probably had some prior animal bad experience so he hightailed it !! Nice property looks serene and private .

Lol! It threw me a little bit too, the bobtail made me question myself. "Wait, is that just a domestic cat or a bobcat?" Ozzy actually looks like he was just curious, but I don't think the driver wanted to take any chances.

My rabbit agrees this is the appropriate reaction, though says the delivery driver is very brave because he stayed to deliver the parcel and didn't flee immediately.

I used to work as a USPS driver delivering mail. I was one of the sub-drivers. The mail lady that I normally subbed for was actually attacked by somebody's housecat and she was injured to the point of having to go to the hospital and get quite a few stitches on her arms, neck, and face. The cat had leapt onto her upper torso to get at her. Me, I never ran into that situation myself, except for a couple of dogs wanting to eat me. Generally, I did try to get back to the mail vehicle quickly after delivering a package to the door because I didn't want cats following me and getting under the vehicle.

I was waiting for the cat to knock the package over.

This gives "Scaredy Cat" a whole new meaning.
