Thank you for a informative video. I have lost my spider plants3/4 times. Now I will follow your method.your garden is very beautiful. All the plants are happy and lively. When I was waching your video I was waiting to see your daughter and the dog. Your video become very beauful with the addition of them. Thanks.

my spider plant has multiplied so much, I have 10 big plants and 30+ babies, dont know where to stop. plus they are so hardy, all thrive in any condition.

did you cut them before using the pins or just pin them in and they came out as individuals without you cutting?

No, I didn't cut them separately before using the pins (Instead, I let them grow along with Mother). We can separate them once they establish their own root system. How to know? Once they have established roots, they would start growing just like an individual plant. I hope, I have answered your question, thank you 🙏

They would need to grow and if they get proper environment, very soon soon they would start growing babies.....but please note, Not all varieties of Spider plants produce babies (specially the one which is more green in the middle and light green on outer side, for example, Ocean Spider plant) Thank you!

This may happen in 3 cases - 1. More water 2. Direct sunlight 3. Lack of Humidity Please note, water actually doesn't damage them much if they are growing in their native environment, like under tree in shade. Even if there is continuous rainfall for 30 days, no damages would happen to them. Problem is, it's difficult to provide them same environment inside our home. So, sometime this symptoms occur and we need to water carefully. Please water only when the top soil looks dry...All the best!
