I've done this outside. My new challenge is in my NYC apartment. Your tomatoes are beautiful. Great job! Thank you for sharing the one gallon bag.
Thank you! I saved Seeds from the little tomatoes in last years CSA and in Jan we moved into an apartment where I’m doing containers gardening for the first time. Thank you! My seedlings are ready to be potted so this is extremely helpful and timely.
Houston?!?!?! I've been looking for gardening videos in Houston for weeks! Our "seasons" are so different from what I grew up with in Denver. I finally gave up on searching for Houston + Gardening, and today just clicked on a random video. What luck!
This is my first year growing container tomatoes in patio pots! We're having a lot of rain in PA and concerned with overwatering & how it would effect my plants. I came across your videos..great stuff. Lot's of green tomatoes…waiting for my first red one! I'll keep watching for sure! Thanks so much Jeff.
I'm going to try this. Thank you! Tomatoes are beautiful! Never thought about bats going near my veggies😬🙄😳
Great video, very informative, I planted tomato seeds a couple weeks ago in a container, this is my first time planting anything, I also planted lettuce, green and yellow summer squash, they have all sprouted and are sitting in my kitchen window. Thank you for offering to answer as any questions. Once again thank you.
I googled “transplanting tomatoes” and your videos came up. I just moved from Western Oregon to Wisconsin (big climate difference) and live in a condo with a patio. For the first time there’s enough heat and sun that I thought I’d try planting container tomatoes. Your videos are so helpful because you’ve taught me about the nutrients I need to add and shown me how to physically transplant them into larger containers, even if the fruit are already appearing. Thanks and wish me luck! 🍅🍅🍅
love this beautiful green garden in the background, and the very useful advice for the tomatoes, so I subscribed. I think I will try my hand at some this year. thanks for the video.
I enjoy your videos, they are simple and quite practical. You're the only farmer/gardener in my YT subscription. Thanks for the tips.
This method works GREAT! The difference between last years crop of tomatoes and this years crop is like night and day. All I did is follow these instructions and now I have a bumper crop of tomatoes. Thanks so much for posting this.
I’ve been scouring the internet for tomato grow bag videos and this is the best one I’ve found! I’ve got seedlings ready to be potted up and now I know how I’m going to do it. Thank you! I’m also a busy professional with a high stress high stakes (no pun intended) job and gardening has helped me quite a bit with balance. ❤️.
I’ve started planting my tomatoes & peppers in the Cactus Palm & Citrus soil sold in the orange bag. It costs a little more but I swear it works amazing for tomatoes & peppers.
Fried green tomatoes are the best. Can’t wait for mine to bloom
