I loved Gordon in the vlogs and I know what it’s like losing a close grandparent, but hearing Karen say “don’t get me started, I didn’t even like the guy” made me laugh as well because I feel like so many of us have been in a somewhat dysfunctional family dynamic but it’s a part of life. I always think to myself how incredibly happy my dad would have been holding his first grandkid let alone seeing me succeed as a father. To see how purely you and your family loved Gordon reminds me of how purely I loved my father. They may not be here living with us, but they are absolutely living through us with how we choose to continue traveling our paths in memory of them. When one road ends, two more roads will be built.
